Think about it this way; the Orlando Magic just traded a first round pick for Rafer Freakin Alston, on what planet is that ever an acceptable trade?

This was a desperation move for them, they probably would have been better off with Kyle Lowry.

I do not want to claim that Yao is great in every aspect, but please do not exaggerate his weakness. He needs appropriate coaching and passing more than other great stars. That's it.

If refs strictly officiating per the rules, Yao can foul out 2 or 3 players every single game. But there is no whistle on those hands on Yao's waist, so Yao or any other center in NBA is not capable of carrying a team in playoff. But any team aiming at a ring would count him as an extremely important piece of the puzzle.

Without Yao this team is lottery bound. Fools! I hope they do move him in 2010.

I want to see the guy gets a ring.

The best center will be owned if his opponent in final is the "slow boat" of Rockets.

Don't post again. You have no idea what you're talking about. Other Yao haters at least make valid points, but you're just an idiot.

And yes how old is Rafer like 45?!?!?!

He's saying that they could've done themselves a favor and just pick up Lowry for cheaper. Just to clarify.

Do not know what's this trade for. To change the starter PG in the middle of the season. This can become an disaster for the whole team. Obviously this trade does not improve out team, but only for budget cutting or trying to get young promising players.

 Now I really doubt if the rocket can make the playoff. Do not forget we are not far away from No. 9.

This is pathetic. As if Yao really has any leverage over the Rockets when he hasn't even led them to one playoff series. Yao is in no position to be acting cocky with the Rockets with the support he has gotten and the money he is being paid. He isn't healthy that often, and the ROckets haven't won squat with him. The ROckets have probably the best GM in the league right now, and Morey has brough a ton of talent to this team in the last 3 years and even some of the guys that didn't work he managed to dump on someone else.

Yao doesn't have one remote reason at all to be unhappy with the organization, because since Morey has been in charge this organization has been very dedicated to winning.

i say we let yao go in 2010 and pick up a real nba player, yao isn't a player that will get you a ring he needs people to play around him. He is above average player because of his height he can put the ball in without jumping. But look how he chokes when other teams ignite and esspecially in the 4th he can't perform. We need to revamp this whole team and get rid of all these injury prone players. Yao Ming is not an ALLSTAR player.

The man woke up in the morning and his toe was injured WTF? we don't need this or the TMAC every other month injury crap.

Rafer sucks im glad he got traded, but they should've gotten something more out of it. Maybe 1st round pick.

A real NBA player? Like who? Which real NBA player would come to Houston over the other big markets? There's only one or two players in the league who gives a team a legit shot at a title without having a very solid supporting cast, and Houston has no chance at either one.

If more than one forth of rox fans are like you, Yao should leave rox as soon as he can. That would be win-win.
