Nothing happened last night, you need to go back and look at the replay. After Lin hit the floor hard both Harden and Parsons went to help him up, both players extended a hand to help Lin back up. Lin was there with his head down because he was hurt and didn't see either one of them. They walked away but Beverley stayed there and waited on Lin to help him up. There was no need for all three players to stand there and wait on him to get up.

Good point. Greg Smith isn't getting any playing time right now. Why the heck doesn't he demand a trade? Ditto for Aaron Brooks and Ronnie Brewer.

If I were Jeremy Lin right now... I would be ashamed of some of his "fans" who post here, littering the forum with endless threads and posts microanalyzing every possible perceived "slight" their "hero" supposedly suffers from. One can only hope that he doesn't read the GARM, thus maintaining his sanity in the face of an out of control, immature "mob" doing a damn fine job of making this forum difficult to enjoy at times.

Not sure what Knicks would do now.

But re Lin's leaving NY. Knicks would have had a $35 million luxury tax hit in the third year. That's why the Rockets/Lin deal is structured with $15 in the third year (and $5 mill the other years). That's the reason Knicks passed on him. It was clear Knicks would have paid the salary Houston is paying him - no question. In fact, Dolan's decision to pass on Lin was controversial in NY even with the $35 million luxury tax.

... because people keep on talking about Lin's time in NY like it only lasted 2 weeks (the 7 game win streak), he started for them from Feb 4 until near the end of March when he had his knee injury. Close to 2 months.

This is comedic. The way Lin played last year and if he was wih the Knicks he would of been wih a psychiatrist crying about the ny fan treatment. He only ones treating Lin bad here are the bs Lin only fans that no squat about a team sport

I'd pack my bags, end the lease or sell the house and be ready to be shipped out.

    You guys need a Lintervention.

The whole idea that Lintensity will Linervate the Rockets is Linsane. Lin case you did't notice, the Rockets have made a huge Linvestment in Harden and Howard. Jeremy will only get Linterest from McHale in the Lin-up Lin the case that Howard and Harden are Linjured. Lintil then, all Lindications are that Jeremy's role on this team will be...

    Lin-ited.

    - Brooks only fan.

There were also some underlying jealousy issues from Melo. He was kind of miffed that Lin had become the face of the franchise during Linsanity. JR and Melo did not want him on the team. I still can't believe that season. The Knicks had tried everyone on their roster at PG (Davis,Douglas,Shump, etc.). Then Lin comes in and they turn the season around. Then they let Lin go for nothing and sign Ray Fatty and Old Jason Kidd.

If I were Jeremy Lin, I would definitely check out what everyone is thinking and saying on the GARM to get some self-esteem boost and moral support..........WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE

Pretty much. Melo got jealous that Lin became the face of NYC during Linsanity. So once he came back from injury he became a diva and refused to follow D'Antoni's PG driven plays. The Knicks started losing games and Linsanity died right away. D'Antoni then left the Knicks. Lin was not given a contract offer by the Knicks and the rest is history.

That's the first time Lin has ever mentioned talking to his agent in a press conference.

    Knicks never made any offer.

If Dolan wants Lin, he could have him much cheaper by signing him early. Obviously, Lin is not quality, he does not has enough experience. Dolan love experienced players, like Kids, Camby, and of course the 2x MVP Nash.
