lol Nash and CP3 are superstars. They can tell anyone anything. Proven. Lin is a decent player right now, with flashes of potential to become really good. He has no right to spam DH or Harden, and if he does, respect. But those guys won't take lightly to Lin who hasn't accomplished very much yet. I get what you are trying to say though. Lin has to get others to buy in first. He is actually more vocal these past few games than before, and you can tell he is more comfortable with himself on the court. So it's an improvement in terms of him being a leader. We will have to see how it plays out.

Besides, it is flopping 101 to stay down after a hard foul and really sell it so that the refs may call a flagrant. Just ask Tony Parker :p

He will snap if he ever plays under 25-20 mins... you heard it here first, his agent will has him , in interview today at practice he said I was talking with agent just thinking where I was in NY didn't even know if I would be playing anymore... so best believe the agent is like u playing 30mins it's cool for now

It's not about Lin "getting away" with anything. It's about Lin moving to the next tier of players whether that be here or elsewhere. I promise you IF we trade him to a team that hands him the basketball and has him run the team he'll blow up again just like he did in NY. Now pay attention to my words. I said he'd blow up just like he did in NY. I'm not saying he's a top 5 point guard or a superstar, etc. I'm saying he'd blow up. Lin is supersmart, supertalented, he has great basketball iq, he's a team guy, he's a winner. He'll make some team a great lead guard. He could be that here if he would assert himself. It's on him.

If you're talking about when he takes a hard spill in the 2nd quarter, you are way off base. BOTH Harden and Chandler Parsons reach out to Lin as he is collecting himself, they look, see he's gonna take a second, and then they both turn around and walk away. I think Bev is the one who then checks on Lin. But Parsons does the exact same move Harden does. Does Parsons also disrespect Lin? Lin fans totally project these imagined slights all over the place. Lin's worst enemies are his fans.

Mo Cheeks wasn't a superstar. Daryl Armstrong wasn't a superstar. NBA history is littered with little guys that were the leaders of their teams that weren't superstars. I don't know what Lin's star level is. It really doesn't matter to me. I know he's a valuable player. And he should be leading not being the dog pissing post for these other ballers that don't do their jobs.

I didn't see that during the game and was upset about it, but it does look like Harden extended his hand while Lin was collecting himself.

I'm on the 'haren' bandwagon (the lack of consistent effort on the defensive end pisses me off...) and been a Rockets fan since before the championship years...

Lin's made some bonehead plays during his time (particularly jumping without knowing where he's gonna dish the ball)... but he doesn't deserve the grief he gets...

The whole LOF/LOH mess is just nonsense...

He can hold his teammates accountable. That's what they're all supposed to do.

This mentality is what's wrong with the team though, everybody wants to blame others for the problems rather than looking at what they could do to help solve the problems...

The guys have to know thier roles and be committed to them for us to win a title, guys have to be accountable to themselves that's what Mchale is trying to teach these guys! When they watch the tape and they wanna complain about how they are playing they need to realize they are the ones going out there sucking it up, not executing the plays, throwing the ball all over the place.

Until EVERYBODY realizes they are apart of the problem we won't win a title.

I'd love to hear more of your musings. VERY enlightening. What would you do if you were Greg Smith right now?
