While I love Paul and Ringo, Yoko was cooler than both of them put together. Bashing her is about as original and thoughtful as Gallagher smashing a watermelon. And even if I didn't think Yoko was a bad ass artist in her own right, John Lennon loved her. That's good enough for me. And there's no amount of "research" in the world that will prove that anyone knows or knew better about Yoko than John Lennon.
I thought the same thing, yeah he reacted strangely to the news, but he probably figured some douche reporter wanted to try and get him all emotional on camera for a story. That came off as a "I know he's dead jackass, now eff off and leave me alone."
