    Heypard,

How will you know who we are, when you leave tickets at the will call booth?

If I was 7'6" I would reach over everyone at the will call booth and get the tickets heypartner left for me so I could cheer for my boy, Chuck, in the last game of his career. Being so tall and freaky I would easily get the crowd riled up throughout the game...cheering for our Houston Rockets, building the excitement for the upcoming season.

Hopefully Rudy would see my 7'6", 345lb frame and sign me for the league minimum(to help out the team, of course) where I would go in next season and dominate Shaq in the Finals...taking him to the hoop for 101 points, breaking Wilt Chamberlains record and leading the Rockets to their third NBA Championship.

Oh, by the way....I am available for the game, heypartner. I won't let you guys down!

Heh...I guess my main question is, what name should I give the person behind the counter? I mean, you don't know my real name, and I don't know yours. (it's Nathan, if anyone's that interested, hence the now-defunct but fairly popular in '96 Nathan's Rockets Page) [IMG]

    See what I mean?

But if you want to meet before the game, then we should discuss a spot, etc...

I did this with Clutch back in '96 at the Delta Center. We ended up having a group of like 100+ people. In the end, cause we were kind of all meeting in one spot, I think we had to leave someone behind for the late-comers. So you're right that it's hard to get several people together in a timely manner. (of course we don't have 100+ people, but still...)

So anyway, heh.... I'm the practical details guy, I guess. [IMG] Email me if you need to.

    HeyPartner,

No ticket for me please. I am in Austin and will be unable to get to the game.

I might be willing to get together to watch Barkley's last game ....hmmm..sounds like a new thread to me.

Luckily, I predicted that the last game of the year would be a good one, and I picked the Vancouver game when choosing my share of Season Tickets. I'll be there at 222 row A seat 5 or 6. See ya there.

Okay, If you guys pay for my plane ticket down there, I'll take 1 ducat, puhleeeese. Imagine the thrill of ragging on a real Vancouver fan live and in person! You'll know me at the Will Call -- I'll be the guy wearing the foam bear head and claws. I promise to leap out on the court at least once when Bibby spaghetti-legs Stevie on his sneaky little cross-over. Oh yeah, I will be cheering Prince Charles as loud as any of you, though.

I paid $25 apiece for mine, and it's a good deal for row A (1st row). I'm pretty sure that bad seats in the lower prom start at $35 and get higher priced the lower you go.

If I was 7'6", I would use my size to end world hunger and spread world peace.

I gotta go to the game on Weds., as it might be my last one in Houston (I hope not).

    Ain't too proud to beg.....

GYHAS - you need to give your head a shake! no offense , but I don't think there is a soul in Houston that would pay for you to come down here. I could be wrong , of course, so good luck. [IMG]

    Go to Clutch's house....

    Bang on his door......

And demand he lock this thread, close it down, burn it.... before it gets out of hand...

    Achebe...do you live in Houston.

There is not 2-seaters available in the bottom 20 center that I know off--ever. You may get a single. But really, it is very easy to move down at half time and get in Jenna's hair.

btw...my season tickets are on the 209/208 aisle. the first set I bought for this thread is 216, altogether. But, everyone will be able to move to where I am I'm positive (especially if there is an Astros game). Also, we can get dead center upper prom. there are often entire row there. the plan is to buy the cheapest seats in the house, and everyone moves to a vacant upper prom section together. the more adventuresome, go lower prom at half time.

Legal? I doubt it... Maybe they have one of those 1000 yards from the event rules or something...
