It's funny, the Rockets are currently a dumpster fire due to going along with their overly entitled star player's interference in the FO, and now Texans fans are hoping that they can get a bit of the same.

I'm not saying I like Easterby, but we've seen what happens when you cater to simple minded players too much.....and I'm not exactly wanting to continue that trend.

Calling Watson simple-minded is not surprising, from you.

By all accounts, he's a super bright man. He's going to retire far richer than just about any NFL player that has ever played. A lot of that is due to off the field business deals.

I get the dichotomy, and I get the irony, but these are two different circumstances. One was created out of a spoiled player that gave up and took the high road. The other was created by an owner's ineptitude when his team's star player literally was trying to save said owner's team from perennial mediocrity.

He's a millionaire throwing a tantrum while on vacation in Cabo because he believes he should be entitled to name the coach and the FO of the organization he works for simply because he's a good player. He's doing this despite the fact that his actions negatively impact that team.....meaning it's far less likely they'll be able to land quality FA's and make the team he's stuck playing for worth a damn. That's the actions of a childish simpleton.

The team isn't going to trade him, and he's locked in long term so he either wastes his career by hurting the organization, or he works with them. He's chosen the sabotage route.

Yeah, you should get it. I don't side with whiny millionaires who want to tamper with things outside of their purview. I don't side with players who seek to actively sabotage their team.

I'm not a fan of individual players, I'm a fan of franchises. When players seek to destroy franchises, I'll be against them for it.

What about management and ownership that seek to destroy franchises?

I’m a Texans fan first, but our ownership and Easterby is destroying us

Then don’t tell him he’ll be involved and take his input and then not take his input.

    Deshaun, we want your input!
    Deshaun, you will be involved!
Jack Easterby is not involved in the GM search!
Next GM will decide his fate!
Easterby will fade into the background, back into his previous role!

    Bullshit. Bullshit everywhere.

I'm not against criticizing management or ownership either, but I don't ever support players sabotaging the franchise.

They trade Watson I’m they will never find a QB as good as him they will never recover from a city image I hope they prepared to lose millions from season ticket holders backing out cause what would be the message to sell you not trying to win if you trade him like your basically a Developing talent for the rest of the LEAGUE what is the selling point

Quit watching like 2 years ago. Feels good man. NFL is just 90% commercials anyway.

This isn’t about 1 single player.
This is about a franchise that has been run into a dumpster heap.
DW gives us his all every game day and would just like a competent FO to do the same.
Its not like he’s the only player that wants a change and that says a lot.
Until Mcnair fixes this crap alot of fans will tune out-

Guys, remember, Bobby once posted a picture of a white kid with red hair saying it was Kaepernick to prove he wasn't black enough to disrespect our flag by kneeling for social justice issues.

So there's not a millionaire throwing a tantrum while vacationing in Cabo saying he wants off the team?
