If Lin lobbed it to Dwight for a slam dunk ... that's only 2 points. Which means that at the other end, the Rockets need to defend against a game winning 3-pointer AND a 2 point jumper or layup that would have tied it and forced 2OT. Kicking it out to Daniels was a high risk play .... but the reward is that the Rockets are up 3-points and the Blazers needed a 3-pointer to tie. That puts much less pressure on the Rockets defense.
If Troy missed, DH would have been there to rebound the ball with someone much shorter than him defending.
If Daniel miss it, our season is over........shouldn't come down to it.....hope we win next two games....
If: Harden loses the ball out of bounds Harden shoots and misses Parsons does not foul out Lin passes to Howard who is fouled Refs call a loose ball foul on Lin Mo Williams miraculously calls a timeout Lin slips Daniels misses then we could have lost. And there are literally 1,000 things that could have changed the outcome of game 1.
