Yes and no. Some players that are reaching their late 20's early 30's are looking to win. Look at what James Posley did. He had a great playoff run and make some big bucks... Azubuike is very solid... You think Ukoka can provide a scoring punch to help like Chase?
haha nah you know when you're about to choke someone when they aren't getting your point about our cap situation or should I say not reading it... hehe
Udoka was supposed to be good in SA but he failed. He's a short list Josh Howard- he's coming off an injury but he's a moron John Salmons - he can score but can he defend? Joe Alexander - bring him into camp and see if he could shock the world.
I saw that the Bucks plan on keeping him if he opts to say in. If he opts out, they plan on trying to work out a deal with him. He's playing great for them right now.
Chase would only be traded for a superstar like Bosh.. but Toronto doesn't need Chase they have DeRozan
I got a feeling they are going to find a trade for him, If they can. Maybe a poison pill to move Bosh.
What a nightmare that is, that contract's got like 4 more years for a ridiculous amount of money and all he does is party watch the game from the bench. Not a bad job actually, just getting paid to watch the game from courtside seats
Call me crazy, but gettin Hedo would actually be a downgrade to Budinger. I don't think though that Budinger would be a deal breaker in a S&T for Bosh. Brooks on the other hand, I wouldn't trade unless we upgrade at the PG slot, something that Toronto lacks, IMO.
What da hell happened to that mofo (Turkeyglue, lol)? He was so active playing for the Magic just last year?
Classic example of a player that only plays hard for a contract. After he gets his $$$, he coasts and doesn't give a damn. I knew once he backed out of the deal with the Blazers and went to Toronto for a bigger paycheck, he was up to no good. He is the Anti-Ariza. Ariza could have taken more money to play for a crappy team like the Raptors, but he chose instead to come to a winner and was willing to take a paycut to do so.
There are a couple of reasons for why he hasn't played too well. 1. He was injuried. He had a knee injuried before training camp even started. I believe the their GM stated that Turk looked very worn out when he came into camp. 2. Toronto had no clue on how to use Turk. He's at his best with the ball in his hands. He's a playmaker that can hit shots from time-to-time. That's why he always had the ball in his hands in crunch time for Orlando. When they finally started using Turk to his stengths, it was too late for them. 3. Toronto is a mess right now. Based on what I read, it was like International players against the American players in their locker room. That normally doesn't bode well for a team. 4. He was in a contract year. He's going to play harder in that year. Overall I will say that it should be interesting to see how he does this upcoming season. It gives him a year to fit in. But I think we can all agree he was overpaid like you wouldn't believe...
I doubt that he would trade Chase. He really started to do well at the end of the season and has so much potential. If we did trade him, Travis Outlaw is a very good backup. He isn't too old because he came straight out of high school, yet still has enough experience.
