Likely Rondo, cause he's come up big near the end of the games everytime.

You're mixing up gifts and skills. Kwame (and Odom's) height and athleticism is a gift. Odom's handling and rebounding are skills. He worked hard to develop them.

You can say he's wasting his gifts but it just sounds silly to say he's wasting his skill. Just like Ray Allen's jump shot, it's not something that other players can't have. They just didn't work as hard as he did to get it.

For breaking down Kobe's focus, the most valuable playa goes to...

But seriously, Rondo keeps coming up big when they need him the most all throughout the playoffs so he gets my vote :)

I've posted this before, but more than ever, it has to be Rondo.

Rondo has been the only one consistent throughout all 5 games so far.

Pierce was good GM 1, and great GM 5. He only had two (the ones I listed) games where he put up great numbers.

Allen is not going to win it; if you watched the series, you'll know why.

Garnett will not win it; although he went nuts in GM 3, he's put up subpar numbers (like Pierce) throughout.

However, I wish the MVP could be distributed to the defense of the Celts. Both Tony and Ray Allen played AMAZING D on Kobe throughout the series thus far, and Garnett has bothered Gasol enough to make him subpar.

^ Also, Rondo excels at rebounds; he is always in the perfect place at the perfect time.

This might be luck, but he gets so many rebounds that it is in fact, basketball IQ.
