We hate people like you two. Making smart gay jokes is funny (we're straight at centers for example), Jbar's was flat out offensive.

You're clearly fishing. We have two of the top five centers in the league, but suddenly we're having a legitimate discussion about signing a guy who hasn't been relevant in the league for half a decade?

Nah. He's riding a little notoriety for being on the cover of Out. If you think that makes him a valuable player, you're delusional. If you wanted to bait people into making offensive comments to retaliate, then you're a passive aggressive troll. You choose.

    Nutty as hell.

Morey is trying to assemble a championship team and y'all are more concerned with turning the thing into a social experiment just to win points (in your minds) against people who have different views of morality and what-not.

Is this what you call being a fan of this team? Infinitely worse than any 'one guy only' fandom.

"No. He's gay." That's all you got? No "he get all flustered by back door passes"? No "when he goes up for the ball you never know which one he's going to come down with"? Just straight homophobia?

Gotta up your game kid, this is ClutchFans. You gotta troll with some style.

We already had John Amaechi so it wouldn't be like the Rockets were breaking new ground.

Yes, I want to be that team that hires the first openly gay athlete for the right reason. I felt that Camby and Collins were similar players at this stage in their careers. Since Camby was being brought on as a veteran center insurance policy and is no longer likely to be able to play, why not hire Collins? Similar player. And yes, I would like the statement it would make too.

He doesn't have the talent. I would take almost anyone at backup center than him.

Well, I guess in your mind that makes me delusional.

Why did we sign Camby though?

Wasn't it to give us a better bargaining position if we decided to try to trade Asik later?

My joke required reading all of the jokes before it.

People were making jokes that had sexual innuendo. After all of the subtle gay jokes, I decided it would be funny to be very blunt.

grow the hell up with the "gay" comments. he's a nba player, before or after he came out. get over it. now to answer your question, wouldn't be bad to have another big body to back back backup

I defer the balance of my time to Roy Hibbert for that answer...

I'm just not a fan of his game. The ball gets sticky when it comes to him.

I would prefer not to have the human foul machine on the team.

Although he does get good looks because he's good at going backdoor.
