The bridge to doing it with no cost washed out a while ago, I agree.

I don't think they're actually going to replace him unless the polling numbers get so incredibly bad that it would border on conscious forfeiting to not replace him.

Even then you can never underestimate the Democratic party's ability to do the dumbest thing possible.

Correct. People part of the decision making process here need to carefully think about this in this context. You simply cannot allow your decision making to be altered by who MAGA hates the most and try to skate around by putting someone up that is currently hated less. Because under that rationale, Barrack Obama would never have been nominated. Not saying Harris is Obama but you have to look at what coalitions the candidate helps and tune out the noise of who it bothers who were never voting for you to begin with.

Does Kamala have a coalition that maybe Biden doesn’t really have a lot of enthusiasm with right now? That’s the question and I’m not sure I know that answer.

I cannot believe the party stuck Biden with Kamala knowing he was teetering on the edge of the abyss.

To my point nobody should give a rats a$$ what MAGA thinks about the candidates in question. Your opinion on the matter is exactly what people should avoid. If I need help understanding best candidates to primary Ted Cruz from the right, I’ll hear what you have to say then.

    it's not an opinion, it's a fact.

if you honestly believe there's some hidden democratic base who adores Kamala, by all means replace Joe with her. I hope you'll enjoy the carnage that follows.

It's like the perfect storm. Like Germany in the early 30's. No hyperbole (unfortunately).

Why couldn't the Trump Error line up in a different time in history? Bill Clinton or Barack Obama would have mopped the floor with this lunatic. Instead he gets to run against Walter Mondale Part II.

The irony in the authoritarian leftist who tried so hard to remove Trump from the ballot have now found themselves in a position where they can't remove their own candidate from the ballot.

    That's a very good point.

It's no secret how he steamrolled the Republican field (by being the orange in a barrel of apples), but in terms of the opposition, we've only gotten to see Trump vs. two of the weakest Democrats in living memory.

People can be removed from ballots. What if one of them died? All of those states would just say "Hey, we printed these things months ago!"?

Like many of you have said, it's too late. Bill Maher, as others, has been calling for him to not run for months.

    1) You can't "try hard to remove someone from the ballot". They are either illegible or ineligible. Law and order. Lol.

    2) You might wanna step away from Twitter as a source for stuff for a bit. A basic Google search about this gives mixed results. At the very least another ticket can absolutely be added.

Defunct tickets make it on to the ballot all the time

Remember remember how that dead guy won an election?

That being said we've seen bureaucratic mountains be moved before when we thought impossible

Either way I don't think Charlie Kirk is a trusted source for any of this information
