Then yeah let’s get it done before the season then. Going to be awkward for players to sit out and awkward for heat who play on Christmas Day.
I won’t. At this point i just want it to be over with so i can look forward to what we have, not thinking about what could be. I hate uncertainty.
Apparently the Nets have found an unnamed third now looking to get it done pronto according hoop central. Looks like they are making their move
Yeah they’re destined to blow this whole thing. No way in hell they even get a quarter of the value of him as a player.
Sure, but that doesn't mean u give him up for these two options. Both aren't feasible if owner is truly serious about competing for the ring now.
I’ve been saying for the longest time we need to give this team atleast 30 teams for Harden to rebuild his value on the court with C Wood and company.
bball ref’s projection for Harden this upcoming season is 33, 6, and 7 on 44/36/87 shooting splits to go along with 2 steals and a block a game...that statline is ridiculous, but for Harden it is easily doable and generates nothing more than a shoulder shrug as a reaction from me that is what we are trading away
Herro is just another average role player. There's a decent chance you get that at 24. I think we should be packaging our bottom 2 picks to move up anyway. Hell, the league MVP was a 2nd rounder.
It is extremely difficult to find an average NBA player that will stick for 10+ years in the NBA at 24. I would say you have a roughly 1/3 chance of finding someone that can be a rotation player. 2020 RJ Hampton 2019 Ty Jerome, Virginia – Phoenix Suns 2018 Anfernee Simons, IMG Academy – Portland Trailblazers 2017 Tyler Lydon, Syracuse – Utah Jazz 2016 Timothe Luwawu, Serbia – Philadelphia 76ers 2015 Tyus Jones, Duke – Cleveland Cavaliers 2014 Shabazz Napier, Connecticut – Miami HEAT 2013 Tim Hardaway Jr., Michigan – New York Knicks 2012 Jared Cunningham, Oregon State – Cleveland Cavaliers 2011 Reggie Jackson, Boston College – Oklahoma City Thunder 2010 Damion James, University of Texas at Austin – Atlanta Hawks 2000’s 2009 Byron Mullens, Ohio State University – Dallas Mavericks 2008 Serge Ibaka, Spain – Seattle Supersonics 2007 Rudy Fernandez, Spain – Phoenix Suns 2006 Kyle Lowry, Villanova – Memphis Grizzlies 2005 Luther Head, Illinois – Houston Rockets 2004 Delonte West, St. Joseph’s – Boston Celtics 2003 Brian Cook, Illinois – L.A. Lakers 2002 Nenad Krstic, Serbia – New Jersey Nets 2001 Raul Lopez, Spain – Utah Jazz 2000 Dalibor Bagaric, Croatia – Chicago Bulls
I consider that a decent chance. Some of those players are much better than Herro as well. I think the smaller chance of getting a much better player is worth it at our stage in the rebuild (the beginning). Trading #24 for Herro is like trading #2 for Simmons. Sure he's an all star but why give up the chance to have better at this stage.
