    At least that's money in your pocket for sure! Will the commercial be played on 610 AM? Any bites yet from the Rockets or Texans on your songs? Do you get good royalities from your work, or are you practically giving them away so you can get the press/air play?

    Yeah the spot will run on 610 and 650 startting in the next week or so. The Rockets are nibbling rather hard with the Yao song. I met with them and will be, er, reworking the Chewbacca part out of the song. It's sad, that was like my favorite part of the whole song but I understand the Rox position on not wanting to upset a Wookie. I really think you guys will like what I've done with the replacement lyrics. The original version with Chewie will be a bootleg!

    And the Texans...let's just say I have been reduced to throwing pebbles at Jamey Rootes windows with my guitar hanging around my neck yelling, "I promise its good!" but he keeps pouring boiling tar on me and calling me names. I'll keep trying, though. Clay Walker's damned song is starting to grow on the public, or so the Chronicle would have you believe, so my chances are slimming by the hour.
