The whole behavior of suddenly protecting his Twitter account, deleting his Facebook accounts, etc., coupled with all his previous lying on Clutchfans, screams "scam".

I think its actually normal behavior when you feel an invasion of privacy...look at his pics that are being thrown around this board. I think making things private is the smart thing to do...continuing to have it public would just promote more private investigators to make fun of the situation here.

Spent the first hour of work today reading this thread. Read the first few pages yesterday and thought it was a scam. Now I'm not too sure, but due to his posting history I'm glad I didn't give him anything.

    More memes, please.

The guy said he rapped in 04 but he uploads the video in 2011 and says it's a "couple of years old", not to mention "Whatever You Like" that he's "remixing" is from 2009. Another lie.

If all it takes to scam people out of money is a random message board post, the guys at intersections are doing it all wrong.

Frankly, everything he owns could be a total fake from times square, and it could be a total lie. When peopole are in financial trouble, they don't know what to do. This is not the worst thing a person who's having a hard time would do.

Do I think that he NEEDS the money? Maybe he can't fathom any reduction in his standard of living. I've been there some time back, and from inside it seems like the end of the world. Still, I wouldn't give money to that type of person in exchange for nothing, especially if he's eligible for jobs, benefits, unemployment.

There are plenty of people who ain't got sht, ain't eligible for sht, and can't get unemployment. People in need are people in need, it doesn't matter where they live or where they're from. If you're helping people, help those in the world who need it most, because these days we have the technology to reach those people far more directly.

I can only imagine that it was extremely painful to him in his mind reading this thread, regardless of what we believe/know. Even if he were lying and insincere, he is probably doing it because of a worse personal problem, which he may or may not know.

I hope I'm wrong and the guy is laughing his ass off, and he never got any money. Chances are, if you sent him money, it won't hurt you much and you got some amusement out of this thread. Not the worst deal.

On my part, I would say look for jobs abroad. If you are an American citizen, you would find it easy to get well-paying jobs you are underqualified for in small rich countries all over the world. America ain't goin anywhere, make some money abroad then go back. Lots of Americans do that in Dubai. I can help you find a job and accomodation in Dubai if you like.

    Good luck!

Does it even matter? People believed him and gave him money they could afford to lose. If he lives in a fantasy world posting pictures of other people's cars and shoes, it doesn't hurt anyone. If he really does have all these nice things, and asked for a handout, then that reflects negative on his character and is pathetic.

Yeah. What I find interesting is that people were still giving him money after all that stuff was discovered. That it's a scam should be pretty obvious at that point. Unless of course the cars and shoes and jerseys and Facebook and twitter accounts are a scam by *other* clutchfans! Which is even more elaborate! dun-dun-DUN

I wonder how much money he made in this thread.
