Why are yall so upset about this?

You know what's really funny is that I guarantee that the texans will go out and win 2 more meaningless games to screw up the draft, or they will draft Clowney instead of a QB. The texans have a YOU Problem. They don't know how to do things right.

    It's called Uncle Drayton's Disease.

Props to Leslie Alexander for never getting infected.

Injuries, overall lack of faith in the coaching staff, poor leadership, etc. Things have to change now, I want to see an entirely new coaching staff next year, new QB, new GM, all of it needs to be new.

Don't worry, they can still screw the pooch and allow the streaking Chargers to make it in

The Cowboys are not 2-9 though and just off the top of my head, outside of his first year in Dallas, have never been 2-9 with Jerruh.

We have only lost 3 games...49ers, Rams, and Ravens by a lot of points. The rest of our losses could have been won with a play or two by players that are hurt mentally or physically. We could easily be 8 and 3 right now...or 7 and 4

Almost everyone in the league can say that. It's a game of parity right now. Very few teams are winning (or losing) by a huge margin from week to week.

But at the end of the day...we're 2-9.

After having gone through this before and feeling the embarrassment this season, I think Mr. Mcnair will act more Mob boss this time around and not have personal relations get in the way. Mcnair could even wack his grand child's god father, Rick smith.

I never thought this could happen without severe injuries. I'm not even motivated to watch any other nfl games or listen to people talk nfl. I haven't checked Nfl.com since before the seahawks game. i'm shell shocked right now screaming momma. :(

True...but not like they are much better.

    http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story...wner-dallas-cowboys-says-doing-best-job-years

Just referring, that it could be worse....the owner of the Houston Texans could be worse when it comes to meddling with the front office decisions.

Don't get your point. He may have been an awful GM, but Les still stayed out of his way.

Our whole team died in an airplane crash and we were forced to play the rest of the season with replacements.

    interesting suggestion.

wins-losses by 6 points or less (team record)

    Buffalo: 3-2 (4-7)
    Miami: 4-4 (5-6)
    New England: 4-2 (8-3)
    NYJ: 4-1 (5-6)

    Baltimore: 2-5 (5-6)
    Cincinnati: 3-3 (7-4)
    Cleveland: 2-0 (4-7)
    Pittsburgh: 1-1 (5-6)

    Houston: 2-5 (2-9)
    Indianapolis: 5-1 (7-4)
    Jacksonville: 1-0 (2-9)
    Tennessee: 2-3 (5-6)

    Denver: 1-2 (9-2)
    Kansas City: 3-1 (9-2)
    Oakland: 2-3 (4-7)
    San Diego: 2-4 (5-6)

    Dallas: 3-3 (6-5)
    NYG: 1-3 (4-7)
    Philadelphia: 2-0 (6-5)
    Washington: 2-1 (3-8)

    Chicago: 4-2 (6-5)
    Detroit: 2-3 (6-5)
    Green Bay: 1-2-1 (5-5-1)
    Minnesota: 0-3-1 (2-8-1)

    Atlanta: 0-4 (2-9)
    Carolina: 3-2 (8-3)
    New Orleans: 4-2 (9-2)
    Tampa Bay: 2-4 (3-8)

    Arizona: 3-1 (7-4)
    San Francisco: 1-2 (7-4)
    Seattle: 4-1 (10-1)
    St. Louis: 1-1 (5-6)

I chose 6 points as the metric because that means it was a game whose outcome could literally be decided by a single bounce of a ball. Think of it as margin of error in a poll, whereas when you say "X team could easily be..." (e.g. with this metric, the Texans could easily be 5-6, the Colts could easily be 3-8, etc). Point being, some teams may not be as good (Seattle, etc) or bad (Baltimore, etc) as their record suggests.

And this is why the NFL sucks now... Every team is mediocre! It just comes down to who has the best QB.

That's a good point. The rare, elite QB's are having an even bigger impact on the game because talent is spread so thin throughout the league. It's extremely rare that you find complete defenses like you used to. It's not just because the rules have changed, teams cant afford to keep their players anymore.

It also kills the experience a bit for the fans, they cant root for their guys anymore, they just wind up wearing a different uniform.

Dark as hell, but the most realistic reason yet, imo.

Damn this was like a light bulb for me, it is exactly how I feel about the league.

Even if Foster and Johnson were both finished with injuries for the season as early as the first game, I still wouldn't believe the Texans would be the worst team in football.

Even if Watt and Cushing went out, along with Foster and Johnson, I would still believe we'd be better than the Jags.

    Pretty crazy.

Well, if we had decent coaching then this would be true.
