Hasn't it occurred to anybody but me that the flier was talking about so many more people than just people of color? Think about it. They are longing for an Aryan nation. Britons, Scots, the Irish...none of these are Aryan either. Jews and Catholics aren't Aryan either. The people who propogate this kind of crap need to be rounded up and shot.
Good point, Refman. These sneeches will always find some star-bellied sneeches, if you know what I mean. I suppose even if we had a fairly homogenous world (e.g. just picture Iceland or maybe Idaho), then some people would start discerning how many freckles somebody had or who was tall or who had Frankenstein's-monster-like arms or something. Sad stuff, all this hate and fear.
I'm trying to get fired up for the sweet sixteen, getting my undermanned, Texas-A&M type (b-ball) type of team ready for Duke!
Good point, B-Bob. I've often wondered what would happen to all of our petty hatreds if all of humanity was threatened from space (be it an asteroid or li'l green men).
I wouldn't mind a world where we wouldn't ever again hear Barry Manilow's music, but the rest of this is garbage. Besides, hasn't Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and the girl from Smallville proven that inter-racial relationships are an excellent way to improve humanity's gene pool.
Cohen, while I share your disgust for the perpetrators of the propaganda, I have to take you to task for the above ignorant statement. Yes, there are some bad actors up in northern Idaho. There are just as bad people in California, Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania or any other state you care to name. I would bet that there are some just as bad within a 10 mile radius of your house. Would it be right to catagorize you, your neighborhood, your state, etc., by the worst people that live there? I didn't think so. Actually, it doesn't bother me too much. Idaho is one of the fastest growing states. One of the great things about Idaho is the ease of getting away from it all in the mountains, deserts and canyons. There are fantastic lakes that are barely used. More people is good for business, but not for the quality of life. If people think there are nothing but bigots, maybe they won't move here.
One lake...barely used. Call 555-1212. Unless that desert has casinos, great buffets and excellent shows...you can keep it.
Relax Moe, I've been to Idaho (Coeur d'Alene) and was very impressed and I had a good friend in college from Idaho. I mentioned Idaho because I was trying to think of a State with a certain reputation (which is undeniable, even if it only pertains to a few folks in Idaho) and was as far away as I could think of. Maybe you could help me think of a different State? We'll quickly learn how many BBS members live there.
Geographical dispersion of hate groups according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Depressing reading at: http://www.splcenter.org/splc.html
Oops, forgot the code to the map: Gray = Klan Blue = Neo-Nazi Black = Rascist Skinhead Yellow = Christian Identity Red = Neo-Confederate Light Blue = Black Separatist Green = Other
Okay, I'm relaxed. I'm telling you, you might as well suck it up and figure it came from some moron in your vicinity. Oh, and thank god that wad Refman doesn't like the sounds of Idaho.
I must say that I am in the process of being converted (from atheism) and that it is comforting to believe that God will sort out all these people in a way that he sees fitting. I don't generally hate people, but I do hate people that hate people. I'm not violent either, but if anyone decided to give any of my black, gay, or whatever-they-may-be friends ****, I will beat the hell out of them, or, if that proves too difficult, find someone to help me, like a large predatory animal.
