Whether or not the WH was involved and not just the Pentagon. basso says the WH WAS involved and that he "saw it reported elsewhere." He also saw it reported that the WMD's were found (over and over and over and over and over again), that Saddam was directly linked to AQ and on and on and on. He's also been busted in various lies and occasions of plagiarism. In each case, he just pretends it didn't happen. So, while it may be true that the WH was involved, forgive me if I'm not inclined to take his word for it. He's a serial liar, plagiarist and troll. Every "fact" he posts is "in question."
I'm suggesting that, when it comes to lying, your credentials are unmatched on this board. How many dozens of times have you been called out to respond to your latest lie (the subscriber wall) and how many dozens of times have you pretended it never happened? Less than zero cred.
I'm fine, thanks. I never said or insinuated that the WH wasn't involved and I didn't comment on the story itself. (I make a general policy of not feeding the trolls.) I was only commenting on the fact that a serial liar shouldn't be taken at his word. You okay now?
it must suck to suck so hard. Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, subsequently said in a statement that he approved the mission last week. "I take responsibility for that decision," Caldera said. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it's clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused."
Wow, liar. Big font! Anybody can see I didn't question that the WH might be involved; I questioned believing a serial liar when he says he "saw it somewhere." On this board, we're supposed to post links. The serial liars especially are, since we know there is always a good likelihood that they're (you're) lying again. Like you did when you dropped a graf from an article and said the article was behind a subscriber wall or like you did all the times you rewrote one sentence and tried to pass off someone else's writing as your own. I've never lied or plagiarized on this board. You're known for doing it and then ducking responsibility when busted. When it comes to sucking, you're the king.
I am not sure why you asking I was not the one freaking about about some small detail possibly being false. Whichever idiot did it does not make a difference. Also since it is a plane in the Presidential fleet a statement from the WH or the pentagon are about the same. It doesn't really matter.
You seem like you might be a little slow. I don't respond to content in troll threads anymore. basso and george and texx have trolled enough in here that they've lost the privilege of my response to content. I didn't care about a detail from the story because, if basso posted it, the story's not worth my time. What I cared about was somebody asking basso a question and him responding that it wasn't in that story but he saw it "somewhere." The rule here is that a link is required. That rule is specifically because of liars like basso. I can't decide what's funnier in this thread: 1. That you think I was "freaking out" over a "detail," 2. That basso hasn't even denied the fact that he's a serial liar and plagiarist (he knows he can't), or 3. That basso used super giant font to trumpet the link he should have posted in the first place according to the rules of the board. I'm not freaking out, fmullegan. I'm having fun with basso and taking one more opportunity to let him know that just because he pretends they never happened doesn't mean we don't all remember his various lies. Hey basso, SUBSCRIBER WALL
This was a completely stupid thing to do no doubt about that - but for basso to try and make this into an Obama negative is pure uber-douche.
The mission on Monday, officials said, was set up to create an iconic shot of Air Force One, similar to one that was taken in recent years over the Grand Canyon. unbelievable. terrorizing half the city- not to mention the carbon footprint. just for a photo op.
Agreed. All around not exactly the smartest thing in the world to do. They couldn't notify the public because they never say where AF1 is going to be in advance. But they could have just not done it. Or used Photoshop.
