Now that one is pretty funny, basso. (and from one of my favorite flicks... better than the Jackson version, IMO) As an aside, I think you should change your signature, unless you want to be confined to D&D, which would cause us to lose your valuable posts in the other forums (excepting those moved here).
thanks, I like this one too. my sig changes on a periodic basis. i would maintain there's nothing political about it now, unless facts themselves are political.
you dont consider a remark from Palin about Obama and a remark about torture political? I warned you once....this is the last time. change it
no, i don't, i consider them "news." i posted a picture in the hangout of another politician and some family members. thus far, no one has objected to either the pic, or my sig, in that thread. my sig's not the problem- it's the back-slapping cadre.
I don't know about some people, but my stated viewpoint is the Air Force One planes does not go through Presidential Approval, but I felt it should. I don't think it takes but 30 seconds to overview the nature of several training missions to minimize potential taxpayer wastage. I am a hands on person to a fault... However, I understand delegation is what makes truly effective management, and to this I think Obama has either kept or put the right people in decision-making for the most part. But trust me on this, people in general don't like wasteful spending by the government...People in NYC felt scared, panicked, and taken advantage of... Obama appears to not be directly to blame, (or hardly indirectly) and as stated, for all the shock and awe and cry involving the videos/you tube...this was a publicity blunder on a tilted scale. plain and simple. I don't think this warrants a firing, and unfortunately I missed the public apology, but I'm sure it happened. p.s. (okay everyone stop now and this awesome thread might go away!)
Basso, I don't agree with you on much....pretty much anything. But those last few photos of Air force one with all the classic nyc photos, really cracked me up.
has absolutely NOTHING to do with any group of people you think are after you, it is a forum rule and you damn well know that. cry your story to someone who doesn't know the context of those statements, they were both political and they dont belong in sigs that people outside this cesspool have to see. Keep your politics in this forum (which you also know, regardless of that little stunt you pulled today)
what little stunt? if you've got something to say, just come out and say it, don't be like Batman and just say "you know what you did" and then disappear. and i find it remarkable that a thread about the joys of getting to know a kid with special needs could descend into the most juvenile playground gangup i've yet witnessed on this board. ya'll brought this thread into the cesspool, not me, and all occasioned by a pic of a strong, independent, fearless woman with her beautiful child. meanwhile, a poster in that same thread suggests all special needs kids should be aborted, and it goes utterly unremarked upon. pathetic.
...and by your signature, and by your years of being a completely political ass clown on a basketball BBS, here to needle people and/or occasionally declare your moral superiority. I still don't get why you are whining - you said you did it to provoke people. It worked. Success. What is the problem.
where did i say i did it to provoke? i said the OP was intended to highlight how SN kids are often ostracized for being different, and to show how wonderful they could be if you took the trouble to get to know one.
Uh, you said you posted the picture of Palin with this knowledge: ...as you 1) knew that the picture would provoke a response among the core of Deranged Palinhaters, and 2) posted it anyway - I'm going to draw a reasonable inference that that response was intended on your part. So why are you whining again?
