    i had gotten over her.... we hadn't even spoken in about 6 months when she called me for my birthday. sure enough, we start talking on and off for a little while and then she comes into town and sure enough she wants to meet up and BAM. she's stunning, funny, blah blah blah.... all the things that reminded me why i had feelings for her to begin with. didn't make a move on her, though :eek: :mad:

    i need to get my willy wet.

    It seems like with ex's, conservative is always the way to go. There's a reason why they call em ex's. Of course, every time I slip up it is because I had been drinking too much beforehand. Incidentally, I recently quit drinking (... to excess). I haven't done something I've regretted in days now!

    We can't always play the Timberwolves in our lady matters. Sometimes they do in fact win stuff, and win well. I like to think of myself as a shiny trophy in that way.

    first off, I give you MAJOR props for doing what you did, I was in a similar situation last summer, which I was on the loser end.

    What got me over it was that she was dating some douchebag in which she was falling for. I basically thought to myself "If thats what she wants, then she HAD the best already". In the end, it just wasn't meant. I wouldn't say that the door is shut, but its getting there.

    Hell, even back in Oct, she "cut ties" with me to better her relationship, which didn't bother me. Then she calls after Christmas and have been hanging out since. Hell, we even played Rock Band at Mig/Moe's place with fb, has gone/watch more Rockets game with me in the past month more than she did the 2 years we were together.

    In the end, just be there, if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, then your, in this case, our time will come.

    I once had a one night stand with a different girl to distract myself from my ex. It was very awkward, and I felt badly afterward. I guess the only good thing is that I didn't tell my ex I still had feelings for her, but other than that, I just felt guilty.
