Breh there are lots of legal Latinos in Houston Wokes still don’t get why going thought a legal process is not racist. they just want crime and drugs in their neighborhoods. Plus nobody has seen the footage of the incident, they immediately side with the illegals. If breh waited 35 years to attempt to be a legal citizen , he did it only because they started to crack down on it .
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/othe...ess-member-says/ar-AA27BQG7?ocid=BingNewsSerp According to a previous statement from an ICE spokesperson, federal agents attempted to stop Salgado Araujo’s van as part of a “targeted enforcement” operation. The statement said Salgado Araujo “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over an ICE law enforcement officer resulting in our officer firing his weapon in self-defense.” according to U.S. Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Houston, the 52-year-old Houston man fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent earlier this week was not the target of the agency’s operation. According to the New York Times, ICE agents had administrative warrants for two Guatemalan immigrants. According to Salgado Araujo’s sons, their father, uncle and two other men in the vehicle are from Mexico. An administrative warrant does not have the same legal power as a criminal warrant, which must be reviewed and signed by a judge.
It was murder. Things balance out in the end. If you live your life with hate, it's going to come back to you in the end.
every time they kill somebody, it’s always the same “they tried to run over the ICE agents” they said this sh*t when they shot that Hispanic woman who was going to her doctor’s appointment (a US citizen) 5 times in Chicago…then the video came out showing how full of sh*t they were Renee Good the same thing the 23 y/o whose mom was still simping for Trump, that was the excuse too
$170 billion. With another $70 billion request on the way. And yet somehow, somehow, body cameras remain a bridge too far for ICE's budget. Truly a mystery for the ages. An agency that can afford tens of thousands of new officers and enough detention beds to shame the entire federal prison system, but can't scrape together the cash for a $200 camera. Must be a real nail-biter over there in procurement. And let's not forget: it took a federal judge in Chicago to force them into body cams in the first place. Not policy. Not accountability. A court order. But here we are again ...no body cams. Almost like the lack of footage is the point, not an oversight. Hard to "misrepresent" an encounter when there's no video proving otherwise. Everyone with a functioning brain knows that if an unmarked car starts chasing you, you don't just pull over and wave. You don't know who's behind the wheel or what they want. But ICE knows this too, and apparently uses it to their advantage: box people in, force the maneuver, and if there's a collision or near miss as someone tries to escape what looks like a random car chasing them down... well, now they're the victims. The ICE strategy of "SELF DEFENSE".
The main reason is that their brains are ruled by emotions, logic is never applied. It starts at the top with Trump. They hate Trump, because they hate Trump they feel inclination to oppose anything Trump does or says. It starts getting suspicious when they accuse someone of being literally everything bad even literal Hitler. Can't think of a president who deported more people than Obama, and its not little..... They were cool with it back then, not anymore. And sincerely, I feel bad for the breh that got killed. I don't know what he did, I don't know if the officer's life was in danger. I can't possibly think why anyone would try and run knowing how dangerous and badly things could end. He had American kids, even if deported with some litigation he may have been able to come back legally. I'm not even against immigration legal or illegal, I think we need the flavor because we have too many woke fat purple hair gringos walking around. But all the wokes are outraged again, what's new? Body cam should tell the truth but will the wokes accept it?
You're accusing others of being ruled by emotion, but this whole post is emotional reasoning. It's not "hate for Trump." It's a track record. ICE has been caught lying, publicly and in court. That's a real reason for distrust, not partisanship. And if an unmarked car aggressively approaches someone, trying to escape is a normal human response, not proof of guilt. On body cams: ICE refused to use them until a judge forced it, and still doesn't consistently use them, all while receiving tens of billions in new funding. "No budget" doesn't hold up. Instead of reducing this to "they hate Trump," actually address the lying, the lack of accountability, and the funding.
I'm not emotional, hence why I rather wait for the body cam footage to be released before forming a true opinion. I don't consider illegal immigrants without a criminal record criminals, I don't think they should be treated as such. I think deadly force should be a last resort for any officer. If the agent can not prove deadly force was the only option then he is the criminal. But even then, this will be used as a political talking point because this is Trump's plan to enforce immigration law. How can the expectations of a country's legal and police system be perfection? If Trump is the president thats how...
The "hate Trump" framing was the emotional part. But fine, let's set that aside. There is no body cam footage to wait for. They've already confirmed the officer wasn't wearing one, which fits an overall pattern of ICE avoiding body cams. You haven't addressed ICE's pattern of lying, both publicly and in court. You haven't addressed how any normal person reacts when chased by an unidentified car. And you haven't addressed the documented pattern of ICE using unmarked cars to box people in, then treating any resistance as justification for using force.
Also... address this pattern. The 3 men who witnessed the shooting, his brother and two coworkers, people who can confirm or dispute ICE's version of events, aren't being treated as witnesses. They're currently in ICE detention and are reportedly being pressured to sign self-deportation orders, without legal representation. This is not the first time this has happened. It's another pattern: eliminate the only people who could contradict the official story before they're ever allowed to tell it.
@pgabriel @Scarface281 @basso @El_Conquistador Did trump make South Africa black people hate Somali’s trying to cross their border ? Aren’t they all Black? @Rocket River @Os Trigonum Would they let this black woman into their country ?
The 3 men were able to seek legal representation, and they dispute ICE's account of the shooting. NYT: The men, who were inside the vehicle, were arrested during the Tuesday encounter and spoke from immigration detention with their lawyer, Hugo Balderas-Ibarra. They said that Mr. Araujo, a 52-year-old Mexican immigrant who was driving to work at a construction site, did not use his vehicle as a weapon or attempt to run over the immigration officers who opened fire, according to the lawyer. “After speaking with these three men that were in the vehicle with Lorenzo, I have no doubt that what they are saying is the truth,” Mr. Balderas-Ibarra said during a Friday news conference. “All three reiterated that at no point was an agent standing in front of the vehicle nor was an agent placed in the line of danger.”
Because folx like yourself expect Perfection from all of their victims. You always feel that the people they victimize should have acted more professional, calm and near perfect Rocket River
