Police said he gave them an alias at the scene -- Alex Cabrera Gonsales -- and attempted to flee on foot. He was taken to the Marion County Jail, accused of driving without a license and on suspicion of intoxicated driving

As for the DUI driver, there is nothing linking a man's immigration status to his proclivity to DUI. How many US citizens got convicted for DUI every year?

Sure the guy got drunk in a country he had no business being in and his actions led to the death of an innocent man, but the real crime here is people thinking that the US should enforce their laws so that the man wouldn't have had a chance to kill the innocent man.

The list is amazing. These folks for the record, can't even apply for direct citizenship. They need to apply (there is also a lottery ffs) for and receive a green card (permanent resident but requires lengthy renewals) first. then wait 5 years (3 years if get married) to apply for citizenship. Then the clock starts for that application. These are the immigration laws we've had since ww2. No recent potus or party had direct impact. These are the exact talent folks we need and yet look how time consuming, expensive, overall difficult it is for them because of our 70+ year old laws. So do you and the others really care or just go after click bait? Full disclosure, I do care because my mom went through this crazy process and finally became a citizen in her early 50s. It was not a trivial process and it cost some money.
I have been critical of CNN here so I must give them at least a little credit for some of their reporting lately. I still wouldn't go out of my way to watch their programming there is a chance they are improving.
Agreed but never seen any threads on it. Not clickbaity enough for the rep. Doesn't pull the heart strings enough despite the fact we're talking about thousands of families instead of one family. But let's go after ICE instead of the laws ICE are enforcing. It's a bold strategy Cotton.
Unfortunately they did, two other times, prior to him getting back here and doing that bullshit. That's the problem with our border. The people that do get deported, end up right back where they are fairly quickly. Instead of worry about DACA people, they should be worried about people like this. And the Dems say drones, etc work better. They may work better than a wall, maybe not. I am no fan of building a wall, that is just stupid.. but they need to come up with MUCH better ways to secure the border than they have now.
