I agree, India has not looked strong at all. Regardless, almost any of the test playing nations can beat each other on a given day. The talent level for the top six teams is never that far apart.

    Haters Gonna Hate. :p

    Pakistan Zindabad!

Anyway, just checked in to see what was going on in BBS and to my surprise very few cricket fans on this board. I would love to see more posts in this threads now that the elimination stage is about to begin.

To all those who doubt Pakistan, if that 46-overs complete dismissal of Australia isn't proof enough, then just wait for Afridi and the boys to kick ass the rest of the way. I personally love this team, the way they have come together in wake of scandals and suspensions, is quite remarkable. Plus, the country itself needs an emotional uplift with all the chaos and political turmoil going on everyday.

Anyway, see you Wednesday morning, it will to be another stellar performance by the boys in green!

    Go Pakistan!

Hopefully you are right! It will definitely not be an easy match since WI just got killed against India, I'm sure they are pissed off.
One person that I'm concerned about is Ravi Rampaul. Pakistan usually does better against spinners, seam (fast) bowlers tend to get to Pakistan and WI has a lot of those.
Hopefully Pakistan wins the toss and chooses to bat. I think anything above 270 will be tough for WI to chase.
Asad Shafiq better get to play in the quarter finals..... Ahmed Shehzad has been freaking horrible this World Cup.. bust!!
I am very proud of this Pakistan team and how they managed to get to #1 spot in their division. I am sure nobody expected that.
And for all the ppl that say that Pakistan won against Australia by luck, needs to go back and look at some stats and shut it!

    Go Pakistan!

How I think it will go down...

    Quarter-finals:
    Pakistan beats West Indies
    India beats Australia
    South Africa beats New Zealand
    Sri Lanka beats England

    Semi-finals:
    Pakistan beats India
    South Africa beats Sri Lanka

    Final:
    South Africa beats Pakistan

You can quote me after the fact to tell me how wrong I was...;)

Can't watch the whole match since the average ODI takes about 7 hours to finish.

Rooting for Pakistan of course. Hope Chris Gayle stays cool.

West Indies all out for 112. Assuming Pakistan don't have a epic collapse, they will be in the semi-finals.

Wow. WI two straight melt downs. How did they even get this far? I would have rather watched Canada. 112 all out in the quarter finals? GTFO.
