    Well it seems like all the Houstonians are jumping onboard this concept. But from an outsider's perspective, I think it's kind of gauche. Doesn't seeking recognition for a city's generosity and support go against the concept of self-less humanitarianism. It would be different if the movement came from other cities/states or the refugees themselves. But making up t-shirts to display how great you are seems a bit self-aggrandizing.

    I prefer the question mark.....

    Houston, we have a problem....they were addressing the space center personnel in Houston.

    Problem, we have a Houston....are you addressing "problem?" No.

    Sounds better as Another Brother has it. Do you have a problem? Houston will help.

    Now who's nitpicking? :D

    As someone who does not live in Houston, I agree with you completely on retiring the phrase "Houston, we have a problem" - it is so trite and overdone.

    I think your idea is great and I hope it all works out for you.

    Make sure someone sends several thousand of the t-shirts to St. Louis so the Cardinal fans will quit hanging the same "Houston, we have a problem" banner everytime the Astros are in town.
