Honestly with the terrible performance of government during the pandemic and the rising income wage gap... not sure Kennedy would feel the same. Under different circumstances I believe your point would hold more relevance. I do agree that some are too easy to blame than look to their own personal responsibility.... but the government looks really incompetent right now.
Strawman. But playing along... how many years ago did JFK says those words? And what do you think JFK would be saying if running for president in this election?
Here's what he said: “If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal", then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” JFK
I don't think @TheresTheDagger understands that JFK was more closer to "socialist" than Biden. If he wants Democrats to go back to JFK and FDR economic principles, I'm all for it. We actually agree on something @TheresTheDagger
I guess issue one is to get obsecenly rich people to pay their taxes instead of squirreling their tax cuts and rebates away in offshore bank accounts.
Trump offered a concession to the Dems but they are stubbornly holding out helping Americans with stimulus checks.
Dems still holding out fiscally hurting Americans. "President Donald Trump suggested Friday that he would be open to approving additional funding for the U.S. Postal Service if Congressional Democrats agree to his legislative agenda on combating the coronavirus pandemic and its accompanying economic crisis."
Right, so the concession was he'll let the Post Office deliver the mail on time, including federal election ballots that feature him, if the Democrats agree to sabotage Social Security funding for the elderly and disabled? Yeah, Dems "holding out fiscally hurting Americans" for sure. There's literally no idiotic, transparent ploy that he throws out that draws the suspicion of his voters which is among the most amazing things ever.
