I can vote and get rid of the orange stain on this great nation. But I probably should do it in person with the President actively undermining and slowing the greatest of public services called the United States Postal Service in a pandemic. Did I do it correctly?
Your premise is that JFK's words are gospel and therefore any modern contradiction shows hypocrisy and loss of the DNC right? Answer of my understanding of your premise is correct or not and I'll then further explain why you aren't here for any sincere discussion.
Dude what happened to you? Is this a result of Trump? You were far more engaging and less trollish a few years ago.
He's apparently very offended because I'm asking for him to clear up his premise. I'll ask again. @TheresTheDagger is your premise that modern Democrats don't adhere to JFK values?
When you come looking for a circle jerk but end up being bukakked You hate to see it. Unless you're @Jontro
Non, no, no. The point is that JFK and by extension every Democrat who has ever walked or will walk the Earth is fully defined by a single sentence quote.
Also I'm pretty sure JFK when he asks what we can do for our country he means civic duties such as voting, military or civil services, activism... Wearing a mask during a pandemic. Things like that.
I'm sure JFK would be proud that he has such a devotee of his progressive vision keeping his memory alive TheresTheDagger. I'm sure if he were to magically come back to life in front of you the two of you would embrace like true brothers and after you finished crying tears of joy, you'd go right to work helping him actualize the truest realization of his vision for the world. Keep fighting the good fight for that which you truly believe in!
Actually I do agree with that quote and at a time when this country is suffering from a major pandemic with over a thousand Americans dying a day I think this line is appropriate. I think it is particularly appropriate to ask this question of those who are showing up armed at state houses to protest policies to combat the disease. To ask those who throw tantrums at employees doing their jobs over such basic things as mask wearing. Those who argue that their own comfort and personal liberty override even making small sacrifices such as wearing masks and social distancing. The sad truth is there are far too few Americans asking what they can do for their country for us to control this disease.
Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, Lincoln, all the greats are spinning in their graves at mach speed by now.
LOL The guy who voted for the most corrupt President in history, the author of the Clinton Cash thread, and the hypocrite whose silent complicity speaks volumes. I take that as a compliment coming from someone that horrible. Thanks, buddy. So what does Trump have to do to get your attention? Secret police, check. Incompetent handling of a pandemic resulting in 160k deaths, check. Meddling with the election like a dictator, check Pardoning his criminal buddies, check. Nepotism in the White House. check. Unparalleled corruption, check. Oh, but JFK quote... I could not imagine how many actual armed uprisings we'd have right now if Obama did half of this crap.
