It is right in Clutchfans just a few days ago. The original poster's remarks were so racist that the post was removed.

Racist is part of life and it is part of America.

When any Rockets player gets unjustified criticism, the fanbase has a right to defend their players. As for justified criticism, that's another story altogether.

Last year, Lin was pulling a 700K salary, and averaged what he averaged during Linsanity and was getting HATED on by half of all posters on most forums, like it was cool to be anti-Lin. Getting wins for your team should amount to love and respect from fans, yet he was getting second guessed and dumped on for completely untrue things. And this is when he was making LESS THAN $1mil! Before the injury, the team was running on all cylinders, and the Knicks were routinely blowing teams out the water with Lin at the helm goin 7-1 under What's why Lins fanbase is defensive.
The "no defense" mantra or the "can't go left" or "hes a shoot-first pg" cries were everywhere. Is that what you see from Lin? Really? Lets let the numbers do the talking in this case. During preseason, he had a great defensive showing and the stats reflect that. I think he was number 1 in steals in the entire NBA and his +/- numbers show that. He distributed the ball well and the numbers reflect that as well. He was 4th in assists in the entire league during preseason and the Rockets offensive efficiency throughout preseason show that as well. His shooting was terrible and his numbers reflect this as well. His turnovers are ugly, but as in last year, was no more than a typical pg. Now the only stat to matter is that the team was 6-1 with Lin at the helm and that speaks for itself.

Sorry guys. Disregard the post above. My iPhones going schizo on me.

But he was gettin called scrub bu everyone still. What's why Lins fanbase is so defensive.

Jeremy Lin is probably crying in his sleep. After all, isn't it the dream of every player to play on a tanking team ?

he must be releaved, he wont have to be the superstar and to carry the team, better for his progression to not have all the spotlights on him

Anderson brought us quite a few aussies, who then left once they realized he couldn't play in the NBA.

Additionally, Dragic brought us Dynex fans from all over the globe.

I agree with we can't seem to say nice things, but it also goes both ways. Say something nice about Lin and you're called a LOF. Lin winning in a poll, only the LOFs are voting for him, etc.

Makes about as much sense as saying.."oh man bet Wade is really depressed the heat are signing James"...and no I am not comparing the quality of the players, just saying how stupid the OP sounds.

He is no doubt happy that the Rockets are improving,it should help take a lot of pressure off him to perform.

Riiight. Let's also not forget that when it comes to peeing into a cup in front of teammates, Yao was the only one who's not nervous.

Honestly, even the terms LOF/LOH does not make sense. Lin Only Fan implies that they are not fans of ANYONE else. A better term would be Lin First Fan which IMHO is perfectly fine. Who really cares that the next guy's favorite player is different than yours - live and let live man. Enjoy the ride.

Categorizing people is not what brings people together.

If you go to best buy and mess around with the Dynex remotes, you discover that the Insignia (also house brand for best buy) remote works on Dynex and vice versa.

You know anyone with these TVs? it takes like 5 seconds to change the channel. when it's usually 1 for a samsung.

I love Harden's attitude and how he's showing leadership.

He comes from a very disciplined team there in OKC. Hope he brings that attitude here.
