I wish Adelman could quit Wells. Morey needs to help put Rick in Rehab.

Buike wasn't drafted. None of the UK players that came out that season were drafted.

    Buike was a no name.

Being undrafted doesn't mean you're a complete no name like Mike Harris. That wasn't the point though. The point was this team seems to run from athleticism.

If that's your point, what's your beef with Mike Harris? He was arguably our most athletic player on the summer roster.

There is no beef with Mike Harris. I said the team runs from athleticism, which is something Mike Harris had, same as Azibuike.

Please provide an explanation, with evidence, as to the relative fame of the two players when they came out of college. Why is Mike Harris more of a "no name" than Azubuike?

Please include analysis of their relative college statistics, awards, record of their respective schools. Reviews by draft watchers would also be helpful.

    Thank you.

Hmmm ... this sounds like you have a problem with him to me:

[rquoter]Mike Harris is a scrub and that's why he is not in the NBA.

This team needs some real players. Enough with the crappy names.

We would've been better off keeping Azibuike instead of Snyder, but the Warriors knew he'd be valuable enough that they could drop J-Rich. At least we knew what he could do in college.

Mike Harris is a no named player. We STILL need another guy who can create his own shot, has height, can play some D and drive (RUDY GAY ANYBODY????)

nevertheless, this team needs a trade badly because between Rafer, Luther and Bonzi(asking too much of him at this point) the guard position sucks.[/rquoter]

I would be willing to trade Bonzi in a package to clear up the backcourt clutter along w/ MJ and Snyder. I think that Harris can be a Gerald Wallace light for this team.

How is bonzi trash? You are a ****ing idiot. Even if he isnt playing the best, he is still a mile ahead of Luther Head, Mike James, and the rest of our scrub gaurds. He is coming off the bench as our fourth highest scorer. His three pointers are terrible but his mid range jumper is pretty consistent. He is one of the best guys we have at attacking the basket. His rebounding helps make up fro a lack of defense and anyway, our whole team sucks dfensively right now.

Every game is a big game right now if we want to even make the playoffs.

How come our big game player only shows up occasionally during our big games?

Maybe he sucked because he was overweight, out of shape, and obstinate. So, why does he suck this year?

You are totally right on both points. You have no idea how angry I got when he threw up that floater last game versus Seattle towards the end of the game. Or wait...you can't even call it a floater, he just tossed it up there. I mean Ryan Bowen could do better than that.

Bonzi comes up with key steals at times for us and looks good when his layups are falling. But when he starts shooting random jumpers or missing layups he hurts us. Not to mention he's a liability at the free throw line, then again....besides Yao, who ISN'T?

When his best offense is his 18 foot jumpshot, he's in trouble.

Bingo...Playoffs are all about matchups and Bonzi creates matchup problems for the other team. He can be inconsistent during the regular season (as are most players), but as long as he brings it in the playoffs, I'll be satisfied.

Wells gambles and gets a steal once a game on average. That doesn't mean he plays defense. His gambling fails more often than not and when that happens, he hangs his teammates out to dry.

And how often do his layups fall? Since you b**** about Rafer Alston's shooting, here is some objective data on how these guys shoot:

    On layups:
    Rafter Alston: 54.7%
Bonzi Wells: 50.7% (Wells does get dunks and Rafer doesn't, his combined % on layup and drunks is 55.9%)

    On 2 pt FGs:
    Rafer Alston: 44.7%
    Bonzi Wells: 42.6%

    On 3 pt FGs:
    Rafer Alston: 33.5%
    Bonzi Wells: 20.3%

How come you are angry at the guy who shoots a higher percentage and want to defend the guy who shoots worse?

And don't expect Wells to magically show up in the playoffs, either. Will he all of a sudden learn to rotate to the right guy when he fails to do so all season while the team needs every win just to make playoffs?
