As I`m german I was a bit about Oeilperes translation. So now even if nobody wants to know this, here`s a little excursion in german. First I have no idea what "Puedlfor" should mean in german. The only thing it reminds me of is "Pudel" which is german for poodle. A "Tolpatsch" is someone like Frank Drebin in the naked gun, who always destroys everything that comes too close to him. Maybe That`s appropriate too, I don`t know. Verkuenden means to announce something and "Verkinder" sounds more like "for Children" in german. But maybe that`s appropriate too, I don`t know. I think there is no direct translation for prognosticator. "Wahrsager" or "Seher" come close but sound very esoteric. But maybe that`s appropriate too, I don`t know. I think I would have chosen "Blinde Seher" but his actual new moniker sounds very funny too. And as Smeggy still has no new moniker and, yes, I know I`m just a little junior with absolutely no right to suggest anything, but wouldn`t it be easy to take the letters, mix`em around and call him... Maybe it's just the anarchist in me but just because Heypahds conceded doesn't mean I have conceded. Part of my philisophical basis in taking this bet is that, Rudy being the traditionalist would not annoint a rookie with a top'o'the chart spot even if he was MJ Jr. And since Lanky had putin his time and work he would be rewarded with at least the 2nd spot on the depth chart. And, barring the inclusion in a trade the Wiz would stll start at SF. Unlike Francis at the 1, the new young guns have some credible veterns in their way and will have to prove their prowess before they get playing time. I am as excited as anyone one about the draft, but geez, we haven't even seen them in Summer Leagues yet. ------------------ I find my own ignorance amusing
