Beautiful and touching post. I bet you're Dad is very proud of you. Stay strong. My thoughts and wishes are with you and your family.
Randy You and your family will be in my prayers. I can tell you loved your dad alot from the way you wrote. God bless you.
Randy - so sorry for your loss. Your tribute to him was powerful. Be strong for your mom. We will pray for you and your family.
Wow, thanks so much for the overwhelming response. ...You guys are strangers, but I love you all like family, Thanks... My Mom is doing o.k., ...we already informed her doctor yesterday and everyone came by in my family yesterday to show their respect and support (even neighbors as well)...I will be moving with my Mom to make sure she is not alone for a second...I am still having episodes of crying, and sadness, but I am trying to be strong...The viewing tommarow at Calvary Hill funeral home will be very, very hard, as is the following funeral. I would like to eventually show this thread to my family because it means a lot to me... I obviously still need time to grief and I may be away for a while but I'll come back as the same silly "ROXRAN" one day. Thanks again so much.
It impressed me that you could even express your feelings in words, while your emotions are still so raw. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I should: my dad has had heart trouble in recent years and, while doing fine after surgery, has come to realize his own mortality. As have I. God bless you and your family. Take care of yourself, take care of them.
Good to hear your mom is doing good. The only cure now is time. I lost my grandmother's sister, who I was close with, last November to cancer. Still trying to get over it to this day.
Randy So sorry for your loss. Be mindful you were a good son to your dad, and take care of your mom. Our prayers are with you and your family.
