Question for ZRB: If the Rockets and Hakeem's Raptors were playing in the Finals, who would you root for? Hypothetically, let's say that Dream returns to his former glory, revitalized by the better air in Toronto. He's averaging 20/10, and has never looked better. The score is 100-99, Rockets lead in Game 7 of the NBA Finals after upsetting the Lakers. Hakeem has the ball, Cato is guarding him. Dream shake... the shot........ would you want the ball to go in? ------------------ Clutchcity.net... source for all your Rockets, Astros, political, music, humor, and Gordita news.
No, I am a Rocket fan. I would want the Rockets to win. But, if anyone was going to hit the shot to burn the Rockets, I would want it to be the Dream. ------------------ Protrolls.com! The next person to post on my message board will win a prize! The ZRBucks!
only a PATHETIC CHILD would boo Dream for ANY reason!! without him we would have only 4 banners hangin instead of 6..without him the Rox would be included with the Clips, Nugs and Grizzlies as perennial lottery teams. He brought us what we needed and now that we are unable to offer him what he needs, you want to boo him!?? I say to you and others like you good sir..............SCREW YOU and GO AWAY KID, YA BOTHER ME! ------------------ This space for rent
My sentiments exactly. Go away kid and play with your Kobe doll. You brats today got no respect. ------------------ "I thought I defended him pretty well....."
I will "boo" Hakeem too. During the starting lineups, I will yell: Bring On Olajuwon! Bring On Olajuwon! Bring On Olajuwon! Bring On Olajuwon! ------------------ Protrolls.com! The next person to post on my message board will win a prize! The ZRBucks!

Hell No. I don't care who it is. Anyone that hits a game winning shot against the Rockets can kiss my arse. ------------------ Fuggetabout it
Yes I will hang my head in shame the day that Houston fans show LESS class than NY fans. I'm a native Houstonian, but I've lived in both places, and it will be a sad day for anyone who can't live up to the low standard that NY fans have set. ------------------ [This message has been edited by sleepyfloyd (edited August 01, 2001).]
Dream will forever be a Rocket. When he leaves Houston, it will be sad. However, the Rockets are bigger than Dream. I would love to see both the Rockets and Dream benefit from this. Hopefully the Rockets get closer to becoming a championship contender and Dream becomes an integral part of a Eastern Conference champion that loses to the Rockets twice during the year. ------------------ Fuggetabout it
How can you say you would boo Dream if you've lived in this city your whole life or been fans of the Houston sports scene your whole life like most of us have? Sure I'm pissed at Dream for all this stuff, but I more pissed at the Astros as they have come so close, and then faltered so hard (everyone knows WE had the best team in baseball in 1998: Unit, Shane, Hampton, best offense in baseball). I'm pissed about the time when the Houston Oilers looked like the best team in football and then squandered a 35-3 3rd quarter lead in the playoffs on their way to losing to Buffalo and their 2nd string quarterback (you all remember the great FRANK REICH!). I will never boo Hakeem Olajuwon, becuase he showed this city the promised land and for the first time in Pro sports history, we could say we were the best. Houston sports is not a glowing example of traditional excellence and success... unless you are talking about Hakeem. We'll miss you big fella and I'll NEVER boo. p.s. I'd definately boo Montross in our Uni before I'd boo Hakeem in someone elses! ------------------ Gold Club stripper to Patrick Ewing: "Get your stinking hands off me you damned, dirty ape."
