On this drive the refs have ignored the play clock being at zero for a few seconds followed shortly by a thirty yard run - then blown an incomplete pass call. Is this a Big XII crew? cause they suck enough to be one.
Larry Dibbles ripped the ball out of Jones hand to cause a turnover, as Arkansas was setting up for the finish. All Jones had to do was to roll left a few feet, kneel - and set up the winning field goal - but he kept running around, and Dibbles came up behind him and hammered him - popping the ball loose - Texas ball.
Vince Young is a great athlete but that was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen a quarterback do.

Arkansas really gave that game away. Jones just needed to take a knee. UT really got a gift in this one.
Vince is not as good as I thought. He has an arm, but needs to work on where he throws it. Maybe it's a mental thing and he will vacilate We'll see. Our defense is not good enough. Maybe it will be somewhat better later, but a top defense has a line that usually overpowers others in every game. But it appear that our new coaching will payoff with some turnovers. Davis still sucks. Cedric is the real deal. The turnovers and Cedric will win some games for us. FWIW, Arkansas is a better team than I thought. We'll have to see if they play every game like they play Texas, though.
the incomplete pass ruled a catch was terrible. benson being ignored was terrible. benson not running out of bounds, effectively ending the game, was terrible. vince not running out of bounds was even worse. and they all pale in comparison to matt jones staying up and fighting with 3 guys waiting to come from behind and crush him which they inevitably did. it was so good to be true to see him fighting for yards i couldn't believe i was watching it. **** greg davis, **** the refs, **** matt jones, and thank God we won that game.
