    The honorable die young.

Not meeting the Jazz wouldn't make anything less legit, every game in the playoffs are intensity filled battles, no matter what team you're up against.

so intentionally run from adversity rather than be a man and take care of wat is sent to you? artest is something this team lacked. he has balls. ask the team if they want to tank gmes to run from the jazz. the grizzilies maybe and maybe the lakers but not the jazz.

if we dont face the jazz then fine. but i dont think we should purposely tank so as to avoid them. and the 2006 mavs?? we shouldve won that series.
wasnt that the year donoughey was gambling on games he reffed? i think there was more behind it than just they beat us.

and youre not a rockets fan b/c part of being a rockets fan is being an anti-jazz fan.

we played the mavs in 2005. i think HMD is referring to the #1 seed Mavs in 2007 who sat their starters to get the Warriors as a matchup. they lost that gamble badly.

why is it that the j*zz can be playing so horribly to close out the season and then they get the rox in the first round and turn into the most unbeatable team in the history of sports.

I will be so happy if they stay in the 8 spot and get raped by the lakers. I will however be ok with the j*zz making it a 7 game series and knocking kobME on his azz.

I kinda want the Jazz now. They look really, really vulnerable.

Plus Deron Williams reportedly left the game tonight with a strained side muscle.

any "injury" happened right before the playoffs should totally be considered fate. such kind of injury just acts as a pretext for the intentional missing games in preparation for the playoffs.

If we indeed need to face Jazz somehow, I'm sure the Rocket rowdies will bring out their 'Utah disdaining' faces. But why the freak on earth do we want to sacrifice our chances to the second or even the their round chances to play with a group of clowns.

I posted this two days ago............still stand behind it 100% and by the way, still stand up to piss.

Everyone needs to stop being afraid of the Utah j*zz. The Rox need to prove to themselves they can beat those scrubs on the way to the finals. If we are trying to "dodge" certain teams what does that say about us? The Rox need to put a major beatdown on them so we can get over this "can't beat them crap"...................I know this, IF I was Rick Adelman I would ask my team one question before I played them..........When you take a piss, do you stand up or sit down?..............I don't know about you but I FUC%$# STAND UP!!!!.......so go out there a play like a MAN

The Rockets would get a huge monkey off their back if they could beat the Jazz this year. But getting out of the 1st round would be better than beating the Jazz right now.

IMO, if the rockets don't defeat the Jazz, I wouldn't consider them true champions even if they win the finals.

    Lol, what??

If they don't defeat the Jazz, they won't even get to the finals...

Unless you mean if they don't defeat them indirectly , like going to the finals without meeting up with them along the way.

With all due respect, that has to rank as one of the dumbest posts I've read in the forum, and I've read a few.

IMO I think Yao should be the PG. He's an elite outside shooter and has better handles than everyone on the team.

you guys who want to play the jazz are morons.

utah is a matchup nightmare for the rockets, i rather see us play a team that we have the advantage on than one we have a disadvantage on in the first round.

in the end its all about winning. nobody cares about second place. nobody will care if they "put up a good fight". Atlanta put up a good fight last year against the celtics in the first round by taking them to 7 games. i bet the majority of you ppl dont even remember that, u just remember that the celtics winning the title last year.

rockets need to get whats best for the rockets.

we didnt defeat Michael Jordan's bulls when we won those 2 championships back in the 90's, so factoring in your "logic" we arent true champions.
