Forget that, I want to position ourselves to face the lakers in the 2nd round. Think of the emotional high our team would be on after beating the lakers in the 2nd round. It could carry us into the finals. NO TO JAZZ!!! I am all for throwing a game if it means we keep home court in order to stay away from Utah in the first round.
you are a dumb ass. the goal this year is to get out of the 1st round...not win an NBA title. It is obvious that this team cannot win a championship this year....lakers dismantle them...spurs still control game tempo....jazz dominate.....that is just the west. confidence will come by getting to the 2nd round...and building on that nxt season. don't get your chest all puffed up. get real
Why? One more time, we usually don't play well in Utah, especially Yao and last games showed the status quo hasn't changed. Is so hard to understand playoff is about match-ups? Blazers rather face Jazz than us. Spurs own Jazz, and fear us. Are you telling me you want to play Jazz before the Blazers and Hornets in the playoffs. It just doesn't make any sense.
I suspect that some males on this board have manboobs. Or they must be PMSing. Maybe their testosterone levels are very low. FREAK the Jazz. If we meet them, so be it. We should only be concerned with beating whoever is put in front of us. Tanking games is for wussies. I can't rout for a wussy team. I would rather lose in the first round than wuss a game because of being afraid to play the Jazz. Im glad Ron is on this team. He won't allow for the wuss attitudes on the team that many display on this board. So sad! Just win out and play who we have to play and kick azz!
Lol Charles is still on the Jazz bandwagon...amazing really. He's like "Denver doesn't want to see Utah in the first round!" Ernie is like "Utah doesn't want to see anyone in the first round." Charles "Don't sleep on the Jazz!" Kenny is like "You are what you're record says you are."
Funny, very funny. I say the same thing to you as I do to all the people who are scared of the Jazz: I don't care who we face, we're going to beat them anyway. I'm sorry if that seems like too much for you.
Puh-leeeeaze. This is a perfect example of over-reaction. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself the Jazz are that good.
They knocked us out of the playoffs two seasons in a row, just like the Rockets did to the Suns. The Suns would have been dumb to want to face that same Rockets team again in the playoffs. You're missing the point. SUre, the Jazz aren't as good as that 95 Suns team when you compare them to the rest of the NBA as a whole, but against the Rockets they might as well be. Maybe you should be the one stepping back, looking in the mirror, and asking yourself whether the Rockets are as good as you think they are. I mean we haven't got out of the first round in 10 years. Where are you getting this blind confidence and bravado from? Because you're a fan? Yes, we'll have maybe a 2 or 3 game better record than they do, but that doesn't make us the undisputed favorite against them. That means nothing. Put it this way. Something would majorly have to change in the gameplan/team philosophy since the Rockets last played the Jazz in March. The last two games where everyone was healthy gave a perfect reminder of how the Rockets match up with the Jazz. It was almost a mirror image of watching the playoff games of the past two seasons. Nothing has changed after three years. What makes you think something will change now?
Absolutely, but in order to have luck you have to have talent that increases that potential of luck going your way. Currently no one on our current roster is a go to guy or luck guy. We need a team that has no conscience, like the championship Rockets team had. We had Mario Ellie, Robert Horry, Sam Cassell, Vernon Maxwell, and Dream. They all were these type of players. That went a long way.
you could of post this on the other 10 different posts, even the one I made that started the whole thing awhile back
