He's the kind of player you hate unless he's on your own team. I'd definitely like him on the team if we're going to play JVG style. He'd be a good fit coming off the bench.
You basically want an "energy guy" coming off the bench, some guy to come and play hard, do some of the dirty work. To me, thats what Padgett is. The guy can hit shots, rebounds well for his size, usually gets his hands on loose balls.
I dont like the sound of that. I think we need to stop chasing second rate players and start aiming a little higher.
We already have Najera on this team. His name is Adrian Griffin/ Clerance weathrspoon. Those players together equal Najera the only differnce is that neither one of them is from MEXICO.
#3 is why Cubes coveted EN, and why he would never relinquish him to Rox or Spurs. (Maybe Bucks or Raps, but NOT a Texas team.) The fact that Najera developed into a quality energy guy who plays 4/5 D (while giving up many inches) is a bonus to the great MARKeter CUBAN.
