I have it on pretty good authority that he is not only alive and well but ........ 1. Is out of the country. 2. Was thoroughly surprised that a thread that was built on an interesting, if not fully nor fruitfully concluded subject (acquisition of a formidable forward), went on so long because of its mundane inertia and not because of it's substance. 3. Has heard nothing but bad news from California for the last week, especially near the Bay Area. 4. Has seen some great summer basketball. 5. Miss you guys. Everyone who "is important" says he stays this year in Golden State Land unless the word "blockbuster" enters the picture. Complete converse to the above statements, Golden State was not happy that anything got out about trade rumors concerning their favorite son. An excellent journalist told the 'GSW powers that be' that they: " .... shouldn't shop the baby and talk insistently about adoption if (they) didn't want interest by parents who can type."
