D-Wade is a batman who leads through words and examples. If you don't believe me, just go and watch the 2006 NBA Finals. He put that team on his shoulders and carried them to an NBA championship. Harden isn't a batman. I don't even think he's a robin. He'll need a legion of super heroes to hoist him on their shoulders and carry him to a title.
Wade has always had a Robin - whether it be Shaq or Bosh and Lebron (some Robins). Harden has.............................. Harden didn't have the best season, and he has his flaws like most human beings do, but to throw the guy out for one bad year, I say give the dude a chance to mature. He's 26 years old. Jordan didn't win a ring until 27. Neither did Shaq.
Incorrect. This season has defined Harden's career at age 26. Whatever happened before doesn't matter. This one season is the end of the discussion.

Yes he was fantastic in the 2006 Finals. He was also an ISO monster the likes of which the league has never seen before. In those finals he ISO'd so much that it would make Harden look like Kyle Korver. 16.2 FT attempts per game, it was a thing of beauty. I wonder if the posters here would have said that he wasn't playing right way (you know, like the Spurs) or if he was dependent on the referees bailing him out with calls? His assist to TO ratio was right at 1 (3.8 assists/3.7 TO) so he doesn't meet the magic 2 assist/TO mark that our posters demand. Was Wade a batman though? Wade never made the conference finals unless he had a 1st team All-NBA player as his teammate. Despite that great playoff run in '06, Wade was still only 2nd team all-NBA while Shaq was first team. During Heatles years it was clearly Lebron's team. Wade was certainly a great player but he also played with other great players too. That seems to be ther recipe for winning titles in the last decade or so.
Truest statement. My most vivid memory of the 2006 finals was Wade launching himself into 4-5 guys under the basket, not even under control, and getting free throws every time.
The real difference between Harden and Wade in this respect is organizationally around him. Wade has a strong figurehead in Riley. Wade has a strong leader of a coach in Spoelstra (regardless of what you think about Spoelstra, he managed Lebron + where clearly that is a very difficult thing to do). Harden has had Morey - who I like, but let's be real here, doesn't command the authority of a Pat Riley - and Tad Brown. Harden has had McHale and JBB. Put that around Harden, then give it time, and see him develop as a more obvious leader. If he tried to do what Wade just did, his teammates wouldn't respond like the Heat teammates did.
Bro harden is one faceted he is a great offensive player right now. He doesnt use his midrange. 2 defenders on him and ge dribbles down to the 8 sec mark and tosses it to ariza for a 3. Dwade can actually post up. Play defense and score. He was a solid facilitator too. Harden is great he can be the best sg in the league some nights. But dwade was the one who molded lebron into a monster. Lebron couldnt win until he met dwade. Dwade is the most unselfish dude in league too. This is who we want harden to look up to. Not kobe.

You are correct that Wade is a better midrange player than Harden. Of course Harden is a much, much better 3 point shooter and more efficient that Wade ever was. It's funny that people say that Harden dominates the ball too much and then they turn around and say how great Wade was. This year was Harden's highest useage ever at 32.5. That's nothing compared to Wade who has posted useages of 32.5, 34.7,33.1,36.2,34.9 and 34.7. Likewise, Harden's ast/to ratio isn't high enough but Wade has posted a worse ratio in 6 different seasons and you don't hear too much about that.
