What constitutes a quality win? The rockets only lost one game when they had a clearly better team, the first game Smith coached against Seattle. If they hit their free throws they beat Sacramento, and they still only lost by a point on the road to a team a lot of experts think will win the championship. In otherwords all you LS haters are idiots. This is the coach till the end of the year. Get over it.

No doubt there are weaknesses, but I cannot recall any of these former coaches or players suggesting a complete coaching change.

Play the hand you are dealt at this point in the season.

 Now who is an idiot for calling people idiots and haters just because I'd different opinion to you?

And so when was I complaining that Smith shouldn't coach till the end of the season? Pls go read the post again. I was replying to another post which suggested what will happen next year and I think Smith is not qualified enough to be our full-time coach. Pls get your fact straight.

Also, if you really think we played good basketball under Larry Smith, then you better go watch some games yourself.

Losses are losses no matter how you look at them. Ifs, woulds are all BS. We're something like 3-12 when the game is decided within 3 pts. Try telling Phoenix about that just because we got so close in so many games, we deserve playoffs over them right?

And yeah pls don't reply to me, genius. I don't want to get into a slagging match with anyone.

I won't be able to see your posts again anyway.

You woudn't think this would be a problem considering we have a couple of former video coordinators as assistant coaches...

I was referring to your comment about the Rockets' wins. and then in this post you actually have the nerve to say losses are losses, but in your earlier posts the wins aren't good wins. You people are just haters.

"How come Greg Popovic is backed up by PJ Carlissimo?
How come Don Nelson is backed up by Del Harris?
How come Rick Adelman is backed up by Pete Carille?
How come Jackson still has Tex Winter on the bench?
How come when Jerry Sloan was suspended for a week, the Jazz did not fold? "

HA! See...that's sad. Don Nelson isn't only backed up by Del harris. He's backed up by like 11 other qualified assistants.

There are plenty of good coaches that will be available next season if Rudy does not return. Many! Very many!

I see the Rockets...trading Cuttino Mobley and Eddie Griffin along with a 1st round draft pick for Elton Brand and Quentin Richardson as well as a 2nd round draft pick. Then I see the Rockets waiving Moochie Norris and drafting a tall, European point guard. I see the Rockets resigning James Posey. I see the Rockets resigning Terence Morris too. Maybe Glen Rice will retire. Jason Collier will be let go.

And a new coach will be in Houston!

Why, Jaric would be great. And then we could sign Brent Barry to play the 2. Ohh..my fantasy dreaming wishful master plan.
