    Hmmm, my personal favorites...

-A woman gave herself an abortion in our bathroom; the fetus was found clogging the toilet.

-My friend and coworker has his hand horribly mangled in a freak accident, losing his middle and ring finger and leaving the index and pinky unable to move at any joint but the very bottom.

-I caused half of Memorial City Mall to be evacuated 4 days before Christmas by accidentally releasing a cloud of ammonia from our massive refrigeration unit.

How and why I still work here, who knows.

I worked in the Wal-Mart lawn & garden section when I was in High School. One day this random guy walks in and punches me. He thought I was someone else and apologized profusely. It wasn't a hard hit and on the side of my head, so I accepted his apology.

I was a door-to-door salesman when I was in college. I had dogs bite me, guns pulled on me, and cops called on me on a regular basis. And this was in the Suburbs most of the time.

I also worked at McDonalds when I was 17.

How big was it? I'm trying to picture it but I just can't fathom that someone would do that to herself. How horrible.

Luckily for me, I didn't discover it or have to actually clean the remains. The mall cleaning crew removed it, then I cleaned up and disinfected everything afterwards.

I love it. Sure, it can be dangerous and emotionally draining but, it is very rewarding. I have always worked with kids in this field and they can be violent. I have been attacked way too many times (and I'm 6'4" 230lbs.) The hardest part is all of the terrible experiences the patients have endured. A lot of them are very thankful for what we do. We get letters and phone calls from former patients all the time. There are a only a few that are unappreciative. Watching them progress, unappreciative or not, makes it all worth it.

I know you didn't witness it personally, but I'm pretty sure it's more likely that she had a miscarriage in the bathroom, rather than an abortion.

Way to be a good person. Because of you, the world is a more positive place to live in.

Where was the rest of the viscera when she allegedly gave herself an abortion? All that's gotta come out either way.

WHY ARE WE DISCUSSING THIS?!?!?

Working in the dental school clinic...I was treating a patient that was mentally handicapped. Hair hadnt been shampooed in probably 3 weeks...the smell of body odor was horrific...and oral hygiene was non existent. In other words, just having the patient sit there with an open mouth was a terrible experience.

Midway through the procedure, I start smelling urine on top of all the other horrendous odors. I look down and notice pee dripping from the chair...she was wearing sweat pants and her genital area was completely soaked.

As a dental student, we are the ones that clean the chairs before the patient arrives and we clean them when they leave. No assistants. Therefore, when she left, I was forced to take care of the mess.

    Nightmare.

I think the fetus in the toilet, however it got there, might trump all work horror stories. Has anyone worked in a hotel? I know they have seen some pretty f**ked up things.
