How do you know when to use the indefinite articles? "A" goes before all words that begin with consonants. •a cat •a dog •a purple onion •a buffalo •a big apple With one exception: Use "an" before unsounded h. •an honorable peace •an honest error "An" goes before all words that begin with vowels: •an apricot •an egg •an Indian •an orbit •an uprising With two exceptions: When u makes the same sound as the y in you, or o makes the same sound as w in won, then a is used. •a union •a united front •a unicorn •a used napkin •a U.S. ship •a one-legged man Note: The choice of article is actually based upon the phonetic (sound) quality of the first letter in a word, not on the orthographic (written) representation of the letter. If the first letter makes a vowel-type sound, you use "an"; if the first letter would make a consonant-type sound, you use "a." So, if you consider the rule from a phonetic perspective, there aren't any exceptions. Since the 'h' hasn't any phonetic representation, no audible sound, in the first exception, the sound that follows the article is a vowel; consequently, 'an' is used. In the second exception, the word-initial 'y' sound (unicorn) is actually a glide [j] phonetically, which has consonantal properties; consequently, it is treated as a consonant, requiring 'a'.
Let me just say, that that is classy dude! Oh and I like your sig. Having said that please don't rep me b/c that just makes me a brown noser and I cherish my quasi-albino skin...
If these are the kind of moves that you get into the lottery then may Morey make lottery moves for the rest of his tenure as the Rockets GM!!!!
Wow - one of the lowest thread ratings I have ever seen. Talk about flame bait! I guess if he had traded McGrady's expiring for Lebron James Scarface would have been happy. The reality is you have to give something to get something plain and simple. If it is required to be a screwjob every time for your endorsement then well... you need help.
So when Yao comes back, and we have Hill, and whoever we get in this year's draft (which will most likely be a lottery pick for us), you really think we'll have no low post threat? Scola? This lineup relieves pressure from Yao by having 3 legitimate back court scoring threats. It's also a great small lineup with Brooks/Martin/Bud/Scola/Hayes.
I hate for my first post to be wasted on this fool, but you mr. scarface are a bonified idiot. I cannot even fathom your thought process. Boo this man!
Oh by the way if you try and insult the best GM in the world why don't you learn how to use proper grammar for it, its: I told you he is an IDIOT.... Mr. Scarface that is Yup, I just went all SwoLy D on yo ass.

At least explain why you think he is an idiot. Which moves has he made (before this one) which have set the team back? Made the team worse? I bet you can't name one because he has never made a bad move before this one (and jury is still out on this one)
For 2 players? Yeah we needed a 2 guard but did we really have to give up one of our main threats down low AND T-Mac? I don't entirely agree with the OP but you know what, I'm gonna be cautious about Morey's moves from now on, they haven't been genius level for awhile.
You have to give up things to get things in general, and no T-Mac does not count as an asset. The fact that we gave him up means nothing. If anything, we gave up one valuable player (Landry, as Dorsey is really not a major factor in the Rocket's plans and McGrady is worthless) and got back a scoring SG and another back-up PG (Rodriguez isn't a bad player, in the end), which is important given Lowry's style of play. So no, I don't really see a problem. Honestly, the more I think about this trade, the more I like it, I guess.
I love Landry...but not as much as I do KEVIN MARTIN in ROCKETS RED! Have you ever seen martin play? You will be wearing his jersey by next season! When the **** does Morey make a bad trade? This is an amazing deal! Great job! Peace out Tmac, you wont be missed by me!
I just didn't want that other guy to rep me b/c I was praising him, you my friend are all systems go! Well unless the fact that I am Elsik class of 95 takes away any desire to do such... Mighty Rams baby!!
