I still like Tmac but I'm much more interested in watching Von Wafer play because he's young/exciting. Tmac can be exciting but he mostly reminds me of an old timer trying to re-capture his former glory. I personally think Von Wafer should be one of the primary focuses on our offense...not sitting on the bench unable to get in the flow of the game. That said...I kind of like Tmac off the bench right now...versus starting. I think Tmac is still a factor...but if this team isn't going to go anywhere (which I don't think they are unless a miracle happens)...then I'd rather watch Von Wafer than Tmac at this point. Neither one can play defense so... . But, Von is the master of quickness and seems to hustle...something Tmac is severely lacking at this time (due to injury or whatever).

It's sad for me as a fan to think this team plays with more heart/effort and just plays better right now all around without Tmac in the game. That's what I see currently, though.

hes done this year that much is obvious he just physically done and the physical has led to the mental (which is the same thing happened in past with back spasms)

however, i guarantee you he will bum out this season and will come back next season as good as ever, then rocks or whomever hes playing for will take notice and try to reup him at vince carter kinda money and there will be few others teams jumping in for him

if rox are smart they just ride out this one and try to trade him in offseason OR wait out his contract and do a sign in trade when is actually 'good' again

wow would you like a cookie? what does this post bring us that 99,000,000 others haven't? you want recognition for predicting tmac would suck this year? the fact that you would have those thoughts is pathetic in my mind, you should be optimistic and hopeful for his recovery. instead, you wallow in your pessimistic mind and insult our team, and you call yourself a fan? a true fan sticks through the good, the bad, and the worse. although i am frustrated as hell, i am STILL hopeful that we will pull through this. jump of your high horse and start cheering for your team

    He's not insulting the team, he's insulting T-Mac. There's a difference.

At this point I'm hoping Tracy retires and his salary can come off the books.

to be fair a veteran poster here almost did same thing (tinman) and he posted videos from clutchfans that were linked to other sites and seemed happy that mcgrady's struggles are being paraded on the interwebs

sometimes i think people here root for certain players to fails or the team to fail with those players so they can be proven right, and thats true for both rookies and vets alike around here

that's what i am getting at, he made a prediction, and he wants to be able to say i told you so, so he cheers for that player to fail. when i make predictions on here that we will fail it is generally so that i don't jinx our team and that i can be proven WRONG, i don't want to be right when i make negative assertions and prediction.

After the playoffs last year a can't believe anybody would say that T-Mac was done, because he put that team on his shoulders. I do remember everyone saying that Francis was done and look what has happened since we traded him without giving him a real chance, karma is a mug. I'm not saying he is the answer but I bet if you give him 35mpg that he would average 15ppg just like TMac. So for those that say Francis is done then I guess TMac is also.

i am too lazy to see how many games are left, but i want to say there's like 30 right? as long as we don't go into the playoffs as the 7th or 8th seed i think we can at least get past the first round, we are built for a series, we have tough players, that can punish players over time, eventually star players aren't going to want to take it in every time if they are going to get thrown down by artest, or rejected by deke or even if they get to the foul line by crashing into yao, it puts a beating on your body and in the playoffs you don't have the time to recoup like you do in the reg season. you won't face a punishing defender in artest night in and night out in the reg season, but in a 7 game series where you play them every other day or so, it takes a toll.

i just want to be the 5th seed, i think that is a good place to be, obviously i'd like to be the 1st, but the 5th isn't a bad position to be, we tend to play down to our competition, we lose to bad teams, and beat good teams. well in the playoffs, there are no bad teams (in the west) so hopefully we continue the trend of playing up to our competition

you have to admit the TQuack fans won't stop quacking til the very end.
One dude ranks Tmac with Karl Malone, Barkley and Stockton!

They didn't win a championship vs not getting out of the first round
    is like this:

those other dudes didn't win the superbowl.
the other guy never won a wildcard game.

Ah Tinman. Ever the drama queen.

Ironically I just finished reading that thread where those things WERENT said.

There is nothing quite like a misguided idealist.

PLUS, they'll keep quacking past the end a la Steve Francis. :D

Yeah in the grand scheme of the things, no one created more drama than Steve Francis. Though Tmac is giving him run.

When Steve Francis gets waived by every team in the league, people here will still believe he can come back.

Steve Francis looneys > Tmac looneys

    R U sure about that?

Both Steve and Tmac had an inordinate amount of loyal fans, and as soon as some of us saw the decline and commented on it...we were labled haters.

    Well.....PFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTT
