The OP has mixed up his opinions originally, and with all the McGrady hate as of now the OP expected to be cheered for "calling out" McGrady before the season started. (McGrady missed dunk thread?).

Can't blame the OP, those who are not fond of McGrady outweights those who do, and U don't blame the OP if he wants a cookie and a nice shiny crown.

It's sad to see what this forum has come to. Though I've only been lurking this site since early 2007 (officially joining in 2008), it's amazing to see how low this forum does get to at times, and I think I'm seeing the Deja vu of Stevie Francis hate era I've heard about.

That being said, McGrady deserves every criticism he gets, but seeing the "true Rocket" fans as the OP calls himself creating a thread just to get a cookie from everyone because his predictions of McGrady going downhill was right, is....low. It's like pissing on a person after you beat him up.

Say you were right about TMac it still does not mean the team will trade him. Sad to say I don't think Morey will do it. I don't understand why he will not but in his interviews lately he does sound like TMac can be dealt. I hope for the team's sake he reconsiders and does trade him. If he does not I will wait till next year to have this team play better.

The only way you will find solace is the fact that TMac has to go, there is no way this can fixed with him and in the eyes of most fans he is done here in Houston. Hopefully he can regain the focus that he gets with another team. I will wish him the best but staying in H-Town that can no longer be.

Seriously, though you are way to proud of calling one of our players done for. It seems you cant prove you said it first and even if you did its not like many of us didnt see it coming. Just cause youre the first to say it doesnt mean youre the first to know it. You definitely should find another team to cheer for and another forum to post in if these are the type of threads youre going to create.

Seriously its not hating anymore, its becoming evident that Mcgrady either doesn't have it anymore or just doesn't want to play here in houston anymore. He probably still has it in him to be a star player but I don't think it will be displayed here in houston. I hope he proves me wrong.

 

Dude, I'm not rebumping my preseason thread about McGrady anytime he has a bad game....told you so threads are the last thing anyone needs or wants.

As others have said, even if you had explicitly said that McGrady was going to epic fail the season (and NO ONE saw this level of a fall off), "gloating" about it isn't going to make too many people here think more highly of you....

 

I agree, but I can still sympathize with the OP especially after being called a hater/fakefan/etc. for the better part of two years...
