    according to this website which i found through google and have no idea how it is calculated, strength of schedule through today is as follows:

    http://teamrankings.com/nba/27powerratings.php3

    1. Cleveland (10-12) 0.099
    2. Minnesota (3-17) 0.088
    3. Miami (6-15) 0.087
    4. Houston (12-11) 0.077
    5. Portland (10-12) 0.055
    6. LA Lakers (12-8) 0.035
    7. Memphis (6-15) 0.032
    8. Indiana (11-11) 0.031
    9. Golden State (12-10) 0.031
    10. Milwaukee (9-12) 0.026
    11. Utah (13-10) 0.025
    12. Orlando (16-7) 0.024
    13. Sacramento (8-13) 0.024
    14. Seattle (6-17) 0.013
    15. Chicago (7-13) 0.012
    16. Dallas (14-9) 0.006
    17. Toronto (13-10) 0.001
    18. New Jersey (9-13) -0.003
    19. New York (6-15) -0.010
    20. Atlanta (10-11) -0.024
    21. Washington (11-10) -0.026
    22. Charlotte (8-12) -0.031
    23. New Orl/OKC (14-8) -0.035
    24. Philadelphia (9-13) -0.040
    25. LA Clippers (8-13) -0.044
    26. Phoenix (17-6) -0.051
    27. San Antonio (17-4) -0.070
    28. Detroit (15-7) -0.072
    29. Boston (18-2) -0.090
    30. Denver (14-8) -0.107

    I'm not a mathematician, but it does seem pretty clear that the worse record teams generally have the harder strength of schedule and vice-versa. This early in the season, I think that would be pretty obvious. If you have a bad record, it is pretty likely that all the teams you played have a better record than you.

    Still, there is soem validity. the rocks have played the fewest home games in the West, and tied for the fewest in the league. they're tied for the most amount of games against Western Conf. teams. they've obviously had their fair share of back to backs, and played the teams that we know will be good at the end of the day a bunch already...

    Phoenix = 2
    Dallas = 2
    San Antonio = 2
    Lakers = 2
    Utah, Detroit, Denver, Golden State once each....that's over half of their games so far

    Plus, I think we've played in a different building every game since early November. So, in terms of travel, it's almost like we've been on a month long road trip. That must have an effect, and I'm not sure that's taken into account in those strength of schedules.

    We also have the best record among the 5 teams with the worst schedule to start the year. Granted, those other 4 teams aren't very good (Cleveland played with LeBron for 4 or 5 games).

    I'll really trying to be uplifting here.

    Why don't you just shut your piehole? You hate T-Mac. We get it. You've been a fan way before T-Mac came to town. Fine. Just don't keep repeating yourself in each thread. At least find one where you can say the same thing over and over. This thread, as indicated in the title, is about the Rocket's schedule. Why can't you just stick to that? You said this team is going nowhere with "him". Why don't we just sit T-Mac from now on and see where this team goes without "him"?
