Probably because it's doesn't take an English major to like or dislike someone's opinion.

Yahoo Finance is still top notch. They've improved a lot in recent years with their daily video features.

I don't use the fantasy app, but do people really find the fantasy changes horrible? The fantasy medals, weekly recaps and live projections are pretty cool, if you ask me.

Finance, sports, mail, that's all it's good for, but it's not going to take it back to the glory days, so they have to change. To get away from the hand that feed you, you need to maul it.

But that's also the problem with large swath of corporate America stuck in neutral. Like the old Playstation/FFVII commercial: "If you succeed, you'll save Yahoo!, and if you fail, there's always the golden parachute."

this is why people don't like changes!!!

if you're going to change something, make it subtle.

Scrutinizing a post on a BBS speaks volumes about your journalism and what you typically focus on. Your articles are horse-something-something-something and give people the impression that you write nonsensical crap because yahoo needs a couple more hits on their declining site. I hope you take this to heart and cover at least basketball a bit better.

the fantasy medals and the weekly recaps were there last year, the only new thing they did this year was the live projections, at first the background looked too dark, but Im already used too that.

I agree, why changing the email, if its working great, I have had an email account since 99, and I still use it, but it sucks now.

Kelly, it's been a minute since I've read any of your articles, so I thought I'd take a look at some of your recent work to determine if the original poster had a point. I'm sorry to inform you of this, but he kinda does.

The thing that jumps out at me when I read the last three articles on Ball Don't Lie, is the weak overall leads. Take this quote, for example:

It seems to me that what you are attempting to accomplish with this article is to chronicle the progress and strange trip of Anthony Bennett, a fine goal, but you go about it in a jumbled sort of way. If I were going to takle it I'd put my main point in the first sentence and go from there:

Don't be surprised if Cleveland Cavaliers rookie--and #1 overall draft selection--Anthony Bennett doesn't wow you right out of the gate. While prognosticators and observers might point to a slow start, the Caves, who selected Bennett with their first overall choice in last June's draft, knew the UNLV standout would be a work in progress. Bennett, who had surgery to repair a torn left rotator cuff in May, used measurables rather than immediate contributions, a blend of touch and rebounding acumen, to justify the caves selection, in what is considered, by all accounts, a weak 2013 draft class. A recent 2-12 with 10 boards debut, by a number 1 overall pick, might, in other years, be pause for concern, but both Bennett and the Caves, seem to be fine with it. For now.

the only thing that's terrible is your tin ear.
