    I don't think so, let's just lose and try to get a good draft pick. We mine as well rest our legs for the playoff push next year. Why play more games when we know we're not going to the championship.

    Because you play to win. Our record indicates that our draft pick won't be a top 5.

    Plus, DM does well in the draft regardless of the position.

    Signed,

    Chase, Carl and Aaron.

    Any chance of Yao playing in the playoffs if we make it?

    8th seed, that's all we need.....come on!!!!!! Sadly we are probably not going to make it unless we win like nearly all of the rest of our games. We must beat the bad teams, like Jersey for instance, who we play Saturday. Lately we have been playing ****ty against horrible teams. We also are really going to need Portland to start dropping games. I think we will do it.
    First Round.....LA Lakers vs Houston Rockets.

    I think if both Spurs and Portland win tonight it is pretty much over. The Rox could pull a miracle and win 19 in a row, but they still need the teams above them to lose.

    The spurs will be the team we can catch. Check their schedule starting March 16th (B = 2nd night of a back-to-back):
    @3/16 MIA
    @3/17 ORL (B)
    3/19 G St
    @3/21 ATL
    @3/22 OKC (B)
    3/24 Lakers
    3/26 Cavs
    3/28@Bos
    3/29 @Nets(B)
    3/31 US
    4/2 Orl
    4/4 @Lakers

    4/6 @Sac
    4/7 @Pho(B)
    4/9 Mem
    4/10 @ Den(B)
    4/12 MIN
    4/14 @ Dal

    No Parker (which leaves them with no real backup Pg), tim's knees wearing down late in the year, and Manu is basically keeping them afloat in games right now. He will wear down trying to do that against the better teams they will face. Road games.... This is going to get real interesting at the end of March. Our game against the spurs will be for the 8th spot I believe.

    just say they can't... and they will

    say they will and they won't.

    That is the Rockets.

    Not going to happen. OKC has been playing well all year, and has actually been getting better. The Rockets have been struggling for months. There is no way that we are going to suddenly turn it on while OKC simultaneously goes into a dive.

    With this year's team. It's all forgiven... Next year though. I expect a pretty damn good record. 50+ if not 60+ wins.

    Totally, considering the fact that we took the lakers to 7 games last year with Yao only accounting for one. Or that we have a huge grudge against dallas from 2005 and that we beat them in dallas in overtime. Does sound fun.

    Mar 12 - Harden will miss the next 2-to-4 weeks with a strained right hamstring, the Oklahoman reports.

    That is huge loss for the Thunder. They are pretty light on the bench without him. They'll have to play Maynor and Westbrook together more? (like brooks/lowry)
