Looking at the schedules of the Blazers, Spurs, Thunder. The most loses either can have is 35 the least will either be 33 to 34 loses. The Rockets currently have 30 loses the team can only lose 5 more games. I don't if the team can make the playoffs but they will be pretty close if they can only lose 4 to 5 games the rest of the way either way GO ROCKETS!!

I agree this season is over, we benefit a lot more going into the lottery, to add more talent for next season....

Um, if we get in, it's not going to be at the expense of OKC, sorry.

I'd say we have an outside chance of beating San Antonio or Portland, but it'll require extending our win streak and them to start losing some games!

I'll be cheering them on regardless, just a fun team to watch. Plus my expectations weren't too high for this season to begin with.

I have to admire the OPs optimism.

Though I am hopeful for a good run heading toward the end of the season as the new players find thier roles on the team, I have a hard believing all the stars will line up for the playoffs this year.

Me too. I'd love to be wrong but it's over, really. Even IF we go 15-4, the Thunder won't go 9-11, they are pretty damn good this year. Durant is amazing in almost every aspect of his game. Maybe the Spurs won't win a couple of games they should win now that Parker is out but I don't see them collapsing.

We still have a chance to get that 11th pick though (if we finish with a worse record than NO, MEM and #9 in the East.

Most likely Spurs will drop, they have a lot of tough opponents left, and they are playing a lot of road games without Parker.

But I am not sure Rockets can replace Spurs, looks like Memphis is becoming a real competitor, they are a pretty balanced team with a lot of talents.

Wow, making up a seven game deficit on the Thunder in 19 games would be incredible. The Rockets has been playing like Jekyl and Hyde recently, they would need a big streak to make the playoffs. I think Adleman should push his team to go for it (the playoffs) and see what happens. One hopes that Hill will improve over this stretch and with Yao's return next year we can be a contender.

although its an outside one, but we still have a chance. we are a completely different team with Ariza and Lowry back in the line-up. Much more consistent with the two of them playing crucial roles in our line-up.

    totally agree
if they play as they did in the beginning it's gonna be a big push to the playoffs
otherwise i dont see them malin the playoffs
i dont mind but the only positive thing to make the playoffs it to have experience for next year

Yeah I could definitely stand to be on this boat as Ariza and Lowry or back and those two may be a little hurt but then yet again we're playing the nets next so thats' a good opportunity for the two to shape up.

No chance the Rocket make playoffs!!!!

Houston is my home town, but once you break up the core that brought you 22 wins. The chemistry that had a chance now dies.

    No Landry,Mcgrady or Yao.

Go ahead and keep your high hopes but its just not gonna happen.

Sad, but I kinda prefer we don't make the playoffs and get a lottery pick....

The injuries have been responsible for a whole lot of the team's inconsistency.
