I think this team will make the playoffs... this year

if i had to put money on this happening or the thunder finishing 15 games ahead of the rockets i would pick the 2nd one.

With the Rockets, its useless making predictions. They're capable of winning any game or losing any, no matter the opponent. Plus, the Thunder are playing excellent ball and show no signs of collapsing. Possible? Sure, but highly unlikely. Portland would likely fall out before the Thunder.

 

Sorry, but what consistency has this team shown you to even fathom that they could go on a run like this ?

We've proven we can beat decent teams and still lose to the bad ones.

 

i can see this happening if jordan hill quickly becomes carl landry/mutombo. otherwise, it looks pretty bleak on the playoff front..

pretty much sums it up. I don't expect the Rockets to make the playoffs and realistically speaking, I wouldn't be too disappointed if they didn't. They have yet to show consistency in beating lesser opponents and closing out games, something that has plagued the Rockets for a while now.

 

IDK, not the Thunder. They have been a good team.

If anyone it will be the Spurs, but Portland is the closest to dropping out.

In these last 20 games it all depends on which Rockets team comes to play.

 

There would be nothing sweeter than to slip into the playoffs and beat LA in the first round. There's almost no chance it would happen, but that would be sweet.

 

Rockets are losing to teams they have no business losing to if they want to make the playoffs. It's a long shot but i doubt they make the playoffs.


btw lottery pick could help us next year when we got healthy team.

 

A week or so ago I mentioned that the Spurs could have a major collapse, and that was before Parker went out. The Rockets are still going to have to get to the 46-48 win mark to have a chance though. I'd like to see the Rockets get hot just to make things interesting.

 

That's my hope. I don't think there is a realistic chance of squeaking into the playoffs, but as long as there is a chance, I'll be cheering them on.

 

if anything, OKC is gonna raise in the standings, they are legit. The only hope tis team has is to have either Portland or SA blow up

 

Yep, OKC is hungry no way they slip out looking at their record.

I think Rockets will get hot with Lowry and Ariza coming back and Hill getting better.

If this team makes the playoffs that would mean they would have to play like a top 3-4 seed in this stretch..if they can do that then they might be good enough to give LA a run for their money...
