I agree it’s a need but I just don’t think a difference maker will be available at that position. I guess we’ll see, but id be surprised.

Now that the hype has died down a bit and there is some regression to the mean, I'm hoping there is some rekindled interest in bringing back our good friend James Harden back to HOU.

Currently constructed, we're maybe the 3rd best team in the West. With Harden, we have arguably the best offense of all time and can give OKC a bit of a sweat.

 

He needs plays run for him. If that's not possible, he should try to create his own shots.

 

Yup, would be great to bring in someone from Warriors' or Denver's staff to improve the way we use our passing big men and movement for shooters. I feel like we could be creating a lot more 3's for Sheppard, Jabari and Durant.

I don't believe that for a second. Fred will happily agree to a trade if Tilman promises him $5 million a year after he retires to be VP of Player Development or whatever.

 

Last night Reed was +5, Amen was -14. Results matter and not what you see in any single one-on-one match up.

And it's not just a single game. Amen leads the team in minutes and Reed comes off the bench. But who has more blocks? Who has more steals? I'm not saying that Reed is a better defender than Amen - I'm not stupid. But Reed is the better shooter, the better distributor, and they're not as far apart on defense as you think.
