I think the astros can rectify a mistake by getting Justin Verlander

    So literally nothing has changed in the last month. A deal was complicated then, and it's complicated now. And on top of it, he still has his full NTC. Again, all information we had a month ago. If the Astros have been talking to them for this long, I would have assumed they would have worked all of this out. Why go through the motions of negotiating without being certain that A) you can make a deal work and B) the player is willing to come to your team?

    If the Dodgers and Cubs are interested, I'm surprised he cleared waivers. They have the money to just take his contract in exchange for no prospects. Or at the very least, they force the Tigers to negotiate a trade with only them instead of anyone else.
