He's been on the bench for a while now since he had that hard fall earlier in the 3rd. When he was in just now, he's running slow, hiding his jersey in his mouth so we cannot see the grimace on his face. His shots aren't falling. This is what we need....
This thread wasn't about the fact that it gives the Lakers an excuse. It was saying that IF Kobe was playing hurt, the Lakers chances are all but gone for game 7, if for some reason he can't go. I don't think he's hurt anymore, though. I just think he sucks this game. Battier is owning him.
I don't remember the fall, but Kobe had blood in his eye to start the 3rd quarter and it dissipated somewhat. Wouldn't surprise me if he's hobbling. I was concerned that the undeserved tech and his conversation with Artest was going to turn Kobe into a machine in the 2nd half. He started with great intensity but he didn't keep it up for some reason. Like game 2, the Lakers needed him to take over the game late in the 3rd quarter after they got tired.
BOOOO. He is just getting owned by Master Battier. Maybe hurt is feelings knowing he won't win a ring this year either.
He wore himself out during the course of his series. Couldn't you see this coming when he expended more energy trash talking in game 2 than most players expend actually playing the game. The guy is an idiot and no matter how good he is karma still knows where to find him.
