I'm sure McHale wanted Kevin Martin or Courtney Lee to run the offense last year.

    Think it through ...

You Lin fans need to go away. If you're a Lin fan and follow the Rockets because of him, get out. I'm a Kevin Love fan, but I'm not a Timberwolves fan, or follow them, or go to their forums and act like i'm a fan of the Wolves. I just like watching Kevin Love play. You, on the other hand, is going to Rockets' forums acting like a Rocket fan, rooting for them, wearing a Lin Rockets' jersey, is so pathetic just like T mac fans! At least Yao fans still support the Rockets. You bandwagon fans need to get out.

Oh, you dummy. I've been following this site since 2009, I first discover this site in 2009. But I never felt like joining it until last year. I use to follow this site on youtube and go to clutchfans comments section and talk a lot about the Rockets there. But I've been a fan of the Rockets since I was 7, back in 97. Yeah, that's how long I've been following this team. Nice try Lin Fan.

Lowey is getting 10 million a year. Lin stopped Lowey the first time they met and Houston won. Bledsoe's numbers are far below Lins.

With all due respect, what a stupid bump! Now we have 9 pages, and counting, of stupid **** after the freakin' deadline about Jeremy and his supposed trade value, when the speculation is pointless. Hey, we won last night. Can't we simply enjoy that? Too easy, I guess. Better to have more pages of idiotic melodrama. Oh, pardon me. I forgot that he's in New York.

The Rockets should explore trade options for everyone but Harden.

That doesn't mean they should make a trade, it just means there may be an upgrade available. You never know unless you explore it.

No one needs anything, but having a Asian star point guard in the NBA is a symbol to a lot of people. There's nothing wrong with that by the way. It's very understandable and human.

It's frustrating to see a guy who you hope to be the Asian Chris Paul score 10 points a night and get benched in the 4th quarter. I feel bad for the LOF's because I want them to be happy when we win but they aren't.

T-Mac fans became Rockets fans over time. So did Yao fans. They used to be called YOF's. So we've seen this thing run it's course. And you can't tell people what is a legitimate reason to root for a team or not. Who cares if it's because of Jeremy Lin, or Hakeem Olajuwon, or because your bf rooted for them, or because you liked their uniforms or thought Chandler Parsons was hot. Whatever floats your boat.

But if you act like a jerk to Lin fans, they probably won't ever want to root for the Rockets. If anything, I'd rather see you leave than them.

I am perfectly OK with McHale did on benching LIN in favor of the other players he think is doing better. The problem is the "29 pt, 9 TOs" comment and calling your player as "selfish" in public. Also, the main reason to trade LIN is that Rockets' current coach will not use him and his impact will diminish. Having a 25 mils back-up/3rd stringer PG is not a distraction to the team?

Well, There are a lot signs / reasons to believe that McHale actually wants Lin to do bad. He was the guy who cut him and Les/Morey were quoted to admit the mistake on not recognizing that the kid can play. McHale desperately wants to prove that LIN is a fluke. Imaging Houston traded Lowry, kept Dragic, and moved Lin as the backup PG. Wow. Lowry's value at last season could still help them landed Harden. Lin's contract will be 1 mil at most.

I think McHale has this deep in his heart trying to prove that he did not cost Rockets 25 mil extra. That is his ego. He is a top 50 all-time NBA players and proud of Celtics Kingdom, his ego is huge.

I'm not sure what you read, but I never said anything bad about Yao fans. I know they still support the Rockets. BUT NOT T MAC FANS, since the Rockets traded T mac away they turn their back on us and started talking trash about the Rockets. They're so pathetic. That's why I hate bandwagon fans.

Asian population and marketability is likely a factor in true value. Toronto and Golden State seem to enjoy when Lin comes into town. I would imagine the numbers look good too.

I mostly agree with you, but there is a subtle distinction to be made. My only objection to LOF's is that they do not always root for the team. On this very page you see someone say they will be on Clutchfans for 3 years if Lin is here for 3 years. That's not rooting for the Rockets. You write: "And you can't tell people what is a legitimate reason to root for a team or not." But when people start saying "Trade Lin!" because Lin is too good for the Rockets, then I think they should not be posting in the GARM, because the GARM is for the Rockets and "Trade Lin!" is actually a rejection of the Rockets, which naturally causes some friction in this particular forum.

Yaomingmania existed for Yao fans and Lin fans could make a similar site if they cared to.

I don't come on this site to read a bunch of b****ing about how the Rockets are not cool. Maybe I'm in the minority though. . . .
